53. The commentary is fun. Dry, quirky humour isn't 1st place on you tube. But it works like hell for me. Also, i've owned nearly every version of the quasi-sim racer, and clocked half of them, so it's easy to relate.
Noticed the same thing. I wondered why everyone was saying "clean race" in the lobby, I understood at the race. I gave so many people that 1 sec penalty before I connected the dots. I also got bump drafted and willingly let them do that to be sure the penalties were because of that. Yeah, i got 4 seconds right away.
The time penalty is the least worry at Tokyo , every bump seems to cost the driver in front SR. Went from SR 99 to SR 60 after 2 races because of it. Pretty sad when people can't even drive fair in straight line , but having said that and to be fair , I'm not sure how many guys were/are aware it.
I just listen to him while I race. Fully submerged in racing and commentary. I would totally fall asleep to him but that’s a bit much, even for me. And I don’t think my wife would be a fan
SuperGT is the reason i no longer exit races when i get hit off, totally agree that the SR is worth staying in for if you ever want to get into cleaner races!
I like that at events (pre pandemic I guess) they'd have our boi driving. Like he did a race against Hamilton ect. But what they need to do is have him sit in the announcers booth and call races. Grade A+ patter.
Imagine being such a big Super GT fan that you name yourself after him then finally get to race against your idol and totally balls it up right in front of him.
I play the inside the car view, for the realistic immersion, but I might try this over the hood perspective. I'm a casual couch racer, with a basic FF Thrustmaster T - 150. I'm not very good at this game, but really enjoy it. I'm fine with finishing last and having a good safety rating.
My God, I'm glad that I didn't bother to try this Daily Race. I got dizzy just looking at the speed. Would have never made it alive without murdering my SR DR. LOL to that last lap spin show off.
Yea, I used to think starting with the softer tire would be best to get ahead early... but the beginning few laps of a race are often a shit show and just keeping it on the track is all you need to do to get ahead, so a harder tire isn't all that much of a handicap at that point compared to later in the race when you're really pushing it!
Props to FreddyDingo7...I don't think I seen any contact from him...love people who race like that..i would rather stick to someone's bumper and finish 2nd than dive bomb and ruin both our races. Props again dude 🤙
The problem by starting last is that you'll normally get those rammers and messes up your drive rating, and if you're not passing anyone your driver rating won't really improve, only your sportsmanship rating.
4:30 there was a war that was called the 30 year war (yes it did take that long) it was kind of a civil war, it was about the Church and Religion so I don't know if it fits the definition of a Civil war. (the whole of Germany was at war I think)
Holy shit, I use to race with you back on Forza Motorsport 3 and 4. My team and your team use to race a bit if I remember that correctly. I was IRT OVERDRIVE, the younger kid running mainly on leaderboards. Not sure if you remember that team, but we were also up on the top 10s for leaderboards. Not sure if I was an ass or anything, I was kinda young then. Cool to see you're still running strong.
There were actually two German civil Wars. One in 420, where Germany split into 3 nations, Bockwurst, Cumberland and Frankfurter and the second in 1969, where the Berlin Wall was put up. Have a nice day

I always like starting on the hardest tire cause if you are faster than the fastest person on softer tires, you can take the race a lot easier.

I think you should always avoid pens when racing. Those things could probably pop your tires if you run over them.
you don't actually have to use the medium tyres. you can go hard and make a no stop. actually competitive since its hard to pass on brands hatch
