If this helps, find an old chunk of conveyer belt, or heavy mud flap if you can. it cuts easy and makes great body mounts esp when you "sandwich" it with the rubber on top & bottom. Helps take the squeak, pop, & window rattle out of it when your all done. Lookin' good man.
Yeah I will end up doing something like that.
It would be neat to see what this would look like with old style painted semi wheels on this truck.
I think they are going to be aluminum.

Love the gussets/wings. We haven’t seen it before but makes perfect sense to be able to mix and match frames and bodies and it is strong and safe as all get out. Love the channel.

nice approach. I've changed how I fill holes. Use a roper to punch a plug of sheet metal that fits the hole. Less grinding and heat.
Yeah a guy still needs a plug on the bigger holes.

Hey Ant! Hooker's is comin' along like wildfire through a briar patch! So, titanium pads on the skid plates? Would be a killer effect when you're layin' frame, especially when you snag something on the hook!
Yeah some drag blocks would would be fun! Always thought some would be fun to mix them with a flame thrower set up too!

Have you ever tried a flap disk sanding wheel on that grinder? I like it better for grinding paint and welds. Seems to smooth them out better.
Yes that's all I use about 90% of the time!

That varies state by state, so it depends. We've lucked out with this one, we have it's title.
