    For my 2003 5.7L Diesel 48RE it's the orange/black (Pin #7). I'm considering going with lower stall triple disc TC and billet flexplate due to the weakness, overheating, breakage and inefficiency issues of OEM parts. Also, any runout or vibration between the TC and flexplate can cause the fluid to flow incorrectly resulting in more heat

    Can you do a video of you driving it with the switch engaged?

    When you tapped into the yellow and blue wire what did you do with the wire coming out of the plug that you just left?

    So I’m assuming this is a 48re, I’m getting 1-4 gear, but no lockup, so driving over 60 mph my rpms are high, so my question is, by doing this switch That should fix my issue manually right?

    Shouldn’t the Tacoma extra cab rear driveshaft fit the crew cab? They are the same wheelbase. Comments were off for the Tacoma video.

    I’ve got a dodge and it seems when I get on it it revs out which I thought was just my trans slipping but is this the same issue my truck has?

      No resistor will cause a check engine light

      Billet flexplate will help with Temps just saying that's IF you've overflexed your stock one to where it's affecting flow within the torque converter. Ask me how I know this.

    Put a billet flexplate in it it'll get rid of ALOT of overheat issues had the same issue.

    • @Shitboxo
      @Shitboxo 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      A billet flexplate isn't gonna take heat out, it's just gonna take more abuse ie bigger Convertor and more hp, to get rid of heat you either need a better cooler or Lockup

    • @BlaztNbern420
      @BlaztNbern420 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Shitboxo wrong if you overtwist the stock fleplate it will spin the torque converter oblong which will change flow rates drastically I had this issue and overheated immediately once hit traffic.

      @@BlaztNbern420 true doesn't usually happen on a stock tranny, I would assume one would change flexplates when doing a tranny, but maybe that's just something we do, usually get a goerend Convertor and bd flexplate and no issues

      @@Shitboxo yea crazy shit had my stage 3 trans in and out 3 times because it kept over heating g went over every last nook and cranny in it not one thing was off I had tons of people scratch their head at it until I spun the center right out of the stock one put a suncoast billet one in and it was like it never happened. My truck is somewhere in the 500-700 range didn't really know that the flexplate had never been swapped so I was happy to break the old one.
