The running commentary of the guide inside the bus is still echoing in my ears.It was a thrilling experience to step on the ice field.I tasted the glacier melting water and ran here and there on the ice field.The Athabaskan waterfall and the ice capped mountains are unforgettable. FYI you said that the snow expands the glacier outwards. The glacier is melting and has receeded BIG time since I was there many years ago. They have the picture in the ice field centre of where it was at certain years.
