Great video Matt! I completed the same route this year except I did the ACA route out of Jasper, got hail bombed with Baseball sized hail south of Hinton. I wish I had done the Icefields Parkway route! I finished up in Columbus, NM. on Sept. 10. You have a great artistic eye with the videos and great tunes as well. Bikepacking is additive! Take Care. motivierend für mein nächstes Abenteuer. 🚴
Awesome vid, man! One recommendation if I may - the music was too loud in the background and you can be barely heard what you're talking so maybe something to keep an eye out on. Cheers!
I did the Jasper to Banff section last summer with some friends. You made the right choice to take the Parkway! The Forestry Trunk Rd was horrible! Crazy fast logging trucks, dust so thick you couldn’t see 10 feet in front of you, and very boring scenery in comparison. We made it half way down the Forestry Trunk Road to Nordegg and hung a right turn straight back to the Parkway. I’m not sure why the ACA even added that section. I would never recommend it. All in all, the trip turned out great.
Just trying to get info out riders. I'm between kremmling & silverthorne Colorado, mm 14.5 , just before Ute Pass, green gate, crossed skis each side. I'm here working, stop on in to camp or weather bad inside, 11 acres. Warmershowrs wouldn't wave the $30 fee for me to just post a host. Whatever, I gave 30 cases water last summer.
Great achievement and fabulous video! Thanks for sharing😊
Very very well done. Trying to define myself how to document my trips, this is very inspiring. GDMBR in 2026 for me..

Did you go to El Paso after Antelope Wells? If so how did you get there?
Yes, got a shuttle ride from Antelope Wells to El Paso.
Excellent! What months were you on the route?
June and July.
I guess you did not film with the phone, just with your camera and go-pro
Used iPhone 14 for just a couple of shots.
