My name is Matt Estlea and I’m a Woodworker from Basingstoke, England. My aim is to make your woodworking less s***.
I come from 5 years of TRAINING at Rycotewood Furniture Centre in Oxford, 5 years of experience WORKING at Axminster Tools and Machinery in Basingstoke, and 3 years TEACHING both day classes and evening classes at Rycotewood Furniture Centre. All while trying to get this TH-cam thing off the ground.
By September 2021, I packed it all in to focus on TH-cam and my business full-time.

As John Lydgate said: “You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”. If the music bothers you because it's too loud, then all you have to do is turn it down. If the music is not to your taste, then mute it all together. It's really quite simple.
I expect more that a few people will make boxes of their own after watching this series. Thanks for the tutorial Matt.

Great series and awesome box!!! I'm shocked at how precise you can get everything with only using handtools. I'm just barely getting started with dovetails but I hope to one day be able to make something this meticulous. Keep up the great work.

I'm trying to make this just out of pine I have scavenged from a broken up cheap wardrobe as the places I have contacted about decent wood for it are quoting around £100 for the timber. I don't fancy spending that much on something I am guaranteed to make a mess of!
