I have a question about the Affiliate Agreement part! Are we allowed to post clips from our first stream as affilate to other platforms? I understand the part of not multistreaming to other platfrorms the first 24 hours as an affiliate!
I thought I had made a video on this already, but I guess I'll have to do it soon. AS OF TWITCH'S LATEST UPDATE: you can multistream everything so long as they are the same quality streams. Ex. You can't stream to youtjbe in 1080 and stream to twitch in 720. But as long as they are the same quality visually and audio wise, you can now stream everywhere and anywhere. Hope that makes sense. I'll work on an update video for this and try to post it next week.

Why give up only after 30 days? If your not in it for the long haul, you probably won't like it later. Not saying don't do it. Just saying, I'd say keep up the grind if it's really something you wanna do.

@Mark_Winter I'm pretty sure I made an update to this video, but to answer your question... TWITCH NOW ALLOWS YOU to multi stream or post anywhere at anytime. So you no longer have to worry about that part. POST AWAY.
I'm a EU Citizen and this helped out a lot, even in 2024. I honestly thought they (Twitch) would be more obvious on the fact that these criteria would need to be filled if one wants to add emotes to their channel. Instead of leaving us on a page that pretty much said something along the lines of "Ooops, you were too fast, come back later or refresh the page in a few minutes". It would be helpful if they clearly stated that you have to proceed with the onboarding to do x,y,z Since I'm so small, I was not thinking about the monetary gain so I didn't bother to look for such an option, but thank you for providing clear and easy-to-follow instructions
@@NobleGuides In all honesty, I couldn't care less for the money side of things. I'm enjoying the whole process and just hanging with like-minded people. The reason for setting this up is more out of fear that I'll end up getting a letter from the state saying I haven't paid for "x, y, z" whilst I was innocently streaming. I just rather be safe than sorry. I'm not sure what your objective is but I wish you good luck with it all and I hope you're enjoying the process as much as I am
@rafaelguimaraes8363 I don't care about the money either, just a Lil cherry on top to feed my gaming habbit... gaming is so expensive, when one doesn't stick to one or two games. The little money I do make I try to put back into the channels either with new games or gear to help me keep making vids. Good luck with everything. If you ever need help feel free to reach out. Thanks for the video! I woke up this morning to see I just completed the Path to Affiliate achievement. But i dont see any "Get Started" or "Onboarding" options yet. Do they take some time to appear?
Yeah, unfortunately it can take a few days as twitch is often behind their own count. But if it says you completed it you can expect to hear from them Inna week or so. If it's longer than that. You can usually reach out to support and they will get you sorted.
If you have a business or LLC this is where your ein would go. If not in the U.S. you'd put in your Social Security Number. If you're outside the U.S. I'm sorry but I don't know how that works and you'll have to look it up for yourself.
I personally use a business email for all my "business" stuff (youtube,twitch, tiktok & Facebook monetization) and then have different email I use for actually using the platforms. So yeah, I'd say it's safer for everyone to have a different "business" email, only you know. So it makes it harder to get hacked and have your money lost.
That's hard for me to answer, I don't have kids and never had to deal with doing this when I was younger. I'd ask your parents to help you out with it or reach out to twitch support to make sure you do everything on the up n up.

So I tried to sign up and I'm 17 and a half so I need a parent permission which I did do at that and I sign all the tax stuff under my name but when I get to the last part which is the payout I want to edit the I info to be under my parents name but it won't let me edit it at all
@@DJNinja331 Oh, sorry I thought u said you sent it in and wanted to change the fourth step. No, you definitely need to be accepted first. Your info needs to match all the addresses and personal info you input before otherwise, it won't let you continue. So you might have to go back and input the info you actually want on the last part.
Not anymore! Twitch recently updated their TOS to where you can now multiscreen anywhere at any time. I'll have to make an update to this video sometime. But you no longer have to worry about multistreaming or being punished for doing so. Hope that helps.
Hey, as a streamer who recently reached the affiliate goal and a minor, as well as someone NOT from USA (What a predicament) I'm worried about getting anything wrong about this, so I would like to ask a few things. I need to input my tax ID since I don't pay taxes I can't do that, should I use my parents?
As your aren't someone from the US. I'd have to say ask your parents or someone for help. I'd hate to give you wrong advice and have something come back and bite you in the end. @7chrolex sometimes it can take a few days. If you feel like it is taking too long be sure to reach out to support and they will usually get you hooked up.

Make sure it is correct first, there is one section where I think something has to be the exact same or it won't work. If everything is correct, try clearing your cache and trying again... or use a different internet browser. These steps usually allow you to get it through.
Sorry, I'm from the U.S. so I don't know any other way than the way it works here. Be sure to read the FAQ and see if u can find answers for your area. Sorry again.
It's important tho have a little community or help when u get started. Have a few friends (or family even) drop in on the days you stream the first few times. It will be a big help. Be sure you share when you are streaming on other socials and keep a consistent schedule. People will show up.

After you get accepted, you can go back and edit anything you need. Just get accepted and then go back to your settings to update anything you need.

Yeah they changed it to a minimum of $50. So once u get there you'll be paid out.

U should be able to do it ASAP. If not contact support they will get u fixed up.

You most likely filled in the optional company tab, oppose to living it blank in the previous steps before. Happened to me as well.
