Yeah, comfort aside I am worried about the route I'm hoping there was a lot of cargo on the route, as JAL and BA have continued flying despite the difficulty for anyone to enter Japan. I hope we see an end to this weird time soon and wish the cabin crew all the best for being so kind and thoughtful.
They serve amazing meals and there is a proper snack bar. If you fly from Haneda on JL41 all economy passengers are also given access to the business lounge in case you just want to sleep. The service is the best especially with the almost business class type food best economy legroom at 34 inches and a wide 2-4-2 seating layout, which the dreamliner originally had in mind, but nearly all other airlines have crammed in the 9 a breast seating.
Basically no, I don't think so there were many many meals. They had Soba with Wasabi, but I'm not sure about instant ramen perhaps you could get that in the snack bar.
