Have you tried asking him why writes DR before his name when all his six doctoral degrees are honorary in nature? Have you tried asking him why he claims to have studied at Oxford University when he actually read at Ridley Hall, not the same thing. Have your tried asking him why he claims to be a professor at Oxford University when he was actually on lecturing at Wycliffe Hall, not the same. These are just a few things this man of God has done that have caused the world to raise eyebrows at his testimony. And what about going around challenging people to a debate when the Bible calls Christians to be humble and loving.

I cannot express my feelings of how much I feel sad after I saw the news of Dr Ravi Zacharias's death. For Christian it is a great lost ever. But I have a firm believe that we can see more Zacharias in future.

While grieving the passing of our beloved Ravi Zacharias from this earth, we also rejoice at his home-going now. No more struggle. I'm sure , Ravi was welcomed in heaven by the Jesus with open arms " Well done, thou good and faithful servant" . He has finished his race , but our race continues .It doesn't matter how we all start the race ...its how we finish it . You are home now uncle Ravi, united with your heavenly father in His Glory . But we do miss you uncle Ravi, but your heart felt messages and love for others gives us hope to run our race well and finish strong .
It is now clear to see that he was in pain physically but by God's grace, he was still able to speak on the word. I'm actually surprised he went to pastor John Hagee's church which is a hidden political church. That would have been a hostile discussion with pastor John Hagee who is very confrontational. I'm glad it was his son who did the interview. Bravo Ravi for being so kind and without hubris.

I can't shake my sadness of one of God's greatest going to sleep. Yet he accomplished SO MUCH. Isaiah 57:1 gives me solace The righteous perishes, And no man takes it to heart; Merciful men are taken away, While no one considers That the righteous is taken away from evil. Who could guess in just 8 months and 5 days, this great man of God will go Home to be with the Lord. He ran the race, kept his faith, and a crown of righteousness has already been granted to him by the Lord. It is really a blessing for the Cornorstone church. As Pastor Matt said, the angels of the Lord must have been present here on this day to prepare this humble man of God for his journey for his eternal rest. He crisscrossed the world to take Christ to tens and thousands of people, and at last he preached at this awesome Cornorstone church too.
Wow that prayer at the end in light of his recent passing just seems all the more profound. While we mourn his passing Ravi's own words here about raising up those who can carry on the work really hit me. Let's make sure we support the work of RZIM. We miss Ravi but there are incredible men & women still carrying on this work so let's honor his legacy by remembering them in prayer just as this pastor prayed for Ravi.
Ravi Zacharias left an indelible mark on my life. It was he and the RZIM ministry that gave me a heart for apologetics. I have been greatly blessed by his loving and patient demeanor that he employed when discoursing the truths of Scripture with all those around him, even if they were antagonistic. Just an observation; that congregation is hungry and being starved for the sustenance of The Truth of the Word. Notice what the host says at the beginning; thank God we don't have any of those hostile people here. I'm sure that Ravi cringed at that statement. I'm not a betting person but if I were, my money is on that Ravi saw the need here so came and squeezed in this visit. Ravi never lets hostility of someone questioning the existence of God get to him. He comes prepared and has inspired me, even in death, to go to battle. I've heard Ravi say to those who are searching to read John 2 or even 3 times and then try to deny the deity of Christ. The faith does not need defending...it only needs to be let out of its cage. I hope that this pastor sees that his flock is hungry and needs to be fed.
I'm not a fan of the Church because of it's political stance and you can see the pastor squirm a little. They are a church that needs to hear that a person of a different race can be highly intelligent and be used greatly by the Lord. Ravi is a south Indian believer which is not very common and he is speaking with dignity and respect and non of the hubris that is normally delivered by this church. Cornerstone needed to hear this!

Exactly right! Can you imagine if Jesus only reached out to the "Purists" of His day? He never would have come out of His fast in the desert!!
I'm not a fan of the Church because of it's political stance and you can see the pastor squirm a little. They are a church that needs to hear that a person of a different race can be highly intelligent and be used greatly by the Lord. Ravi is a south Indian believer which is not very common and he is speaking with dignity and respect and non of the hubris that is normally delivered by this church.

Actions speak louder then words. Maybe his wisdom in dealing with the Mormons is greater then your judgement. This is my opinion.
