Life as a corporate lawyer is intense - lots of good, some bad, and nearly always busy. So, today, I’m prioritising self-care, as well as doing some work on a big M&A deal and squeezing in a bit of time for my TH-cam channel 😊
Spending quality time with Beth, my family and friends is one of my biggest focuses for 2024. If you asked me what’s most important to me in life, I’d obviously tell you it’s the people I love... but I’ve not generally been great over the last couple of years at reflecting that in how I’ve spent my time. So, today, around the stuff I have to do, I’m recharging with my mum and Beth, going on a lovely countryside walk and cooking together 🤗

About Me
I'm a lawyer, part-time TH-camr, son, brother, startup founder, fiancé, black coffee drinker and plant dad. I graduated from Cambridge University (where I studied French and Spanish), topped my law school class and now work for a corporate law firm in London as a trainee solicitor (which takes up a lot of my time)!
Around that, I'm a big fan of discovering new ways of thinking, of balancing work with life, and of performing to the very best of my ability. Ohh, and being happy. And I try to share all that on this TH-cam channel 😀

I’m a corporate law clerk (in Ontario, clerks are the main assistants to lawyers since paralegals can practice small claims law) and I can’t believe how busy the last 6 months have been.

Hi Liam, I started following you in your uni days and always loved your videos. I have to say though that this type of lifestyle is not healthy at all. Working hours and hours during the week plus working weekends is ridiculous. Maybe try and find balance, read a book or two about optimizing time because this can only lead to burnout and is not at all a good example for your audience.
Its all preference, there is no one size fits all approach to balance. You must imagine Sisyphus happy.
@@abdisemed9640 Not really a thing of preference, there is a reason why it’s a 40h working week, or why some people work even less in like the 4-hour workweek (great book by Tim Ferris). This, what he’s doing, is just excessive.
Nobody said it is not his choice but he is a role model/influence for his audience and should be careful about what he preaches. Just my opinion.@@sebkesumavlog
@@katarinamarinkovic8661 he is literally showcasing HIS life. At no point did he say his audience should follow in his foot steps. If an audience member wants this lifestyle because of his videos then that’s their problem. You can’t heal blame for your life decisions on a legal influencer wtf
