Your home is a small fraction of your homestead and if you’d give a tour of your land and gardens all would be truly blown away! You all have worked so hard. This was incredible and absolutely beautiful! We have 4 children in a 2 bedroom house and the children share a room. We hope our family will grow and most people think we are crazy. I love how close they are. I always said, “It’s like in college when you go to a hostel!” Everyone just uses their space for sleeping and quiet reading, but we all bond in the main family area and go outside too. You have inspired me and blessed me for years with your content. I love your home and you radiate sunshine!

We try to keep things minimal as well. We don't have many toys. Mostly Legos, blocks, puzzles, and a few games. The children love to play outside and use all kinds of things for "toys' outside. Keeping the toys and outside play areas contained in small spaces is helpful, as well as regular "tidy-up' times. Blessings to you. ❤

The things that matter are clear in this video, it does us good to pare down to what is truly a need and i love that you have some comforts as well. I have trouble keeping my "desk" in order too. Currently i use my bedroom dresser top and i hope i can come up with a better way to keep it. I write letters and have a little collection of secondhand stationery for that , just yesterday i thought i might put it in a little suitcase i have. Also! I find it so wonderful that your piano is tuned & you are practicing it. I have so many friends with FAR LESS children & far more 'free time' complain about how they don't have hobbies. They make it out to be the fault of being a mother. I have ALWAYS had hobbies & spent time doing them even with babies in the home. I don't understand why mothers today can not 'find time' for interests? They don't teach their kids to go entertain themselves or they are wasting too much time on useless things are my 2 guesses. I have never forgone my interests & I am glad to see you practicing such a beautiful instrument!

What joy to hear that you are keeping the feasts.🙂 The past few years we have camped at other people's properties nearby so that we could drive home to do chores everyday. We keep sleeping bags/extra blankets, camp kitchen supplies, and an empty tote that we start filling with food and paper products the month or two before Sukkot. I try to prepare as much food ahead of time as possible to make camping easier. We take the children's bed mattresses to make camping more comfortable as well.🙂 Sukkot has become one of the favorite times of the year for our children. They love being able to camp out with friends and have so much fellowship time. Blessings to you and your family as you look to Him for strength and joy each day and walk in His ways.❤

I appreciate this more than you know we bought our retirement home in right in the middle of lower Michigan last year we still have no floor and so much needs to be redone but I’m super thankful for my new unfinished laundry room 🤗☺️
Laundry is a part of life. A big part, especially when you have a large family! Happy for you to have your new laundry room. I appreciate mine as well. I always say if you can't figure out your laundry space and system, you probably can't figure out any other part of homekeeping. It's a family basic.

What joy to hear that you are keeping the feasts.🙂 The past few years we have camped at other people's properties nearby so that we could drive home to do chores everyday. We keep sleeping bags/extra blankets, camp kitchen supplies, and an empty tote that we start filling with food and paper products the month or two before Sukkot. I try to prepare as much food ahead of time as possible to make camping easier. We take the children's bed mattresses to make camping more comfortable as well.🙂 Sukkot has become one of the favorite times of the year for our children. They love being able to camp out with friends and have so much fellowship time. Blessings to you and your family as you look to Him for strength and joy each day and walk in His ways.❤

I appreciate this more than you know we bought our retirement home in right in the middle of lower Michigan last year we still have no floor and so much needs to be redone but I’m super thankful for my new unfinished laundry room 🤗☺️
Laundry is a part of life. A big part, especially when you have a large family! Happy for you to have your new laundry room. I appreciate mine as well. I always say if you can't figure out your laundry space and system, you probably can't figure out any other part of homekeeping. It's a family basic.
