It might've been a bit cheesy, but I used the boots to get on the uppermost levels of the groves. From there I used the boots to quickly zoom around the outer perimeter and map all that, then I used airstrafing to huck myself across some of the middle areas and map them out, as well as attracting the flying enemies and having the high ground against the ones below me. There was no missing textures or invisible walls, so I felt it was a legit strategy.
I’d be lying if I said it hadn’t crossed my mind. Ultimately I think it adds tension to viewing if I’m down there in the thick of it. I’d be surprised if there were no secrets up there though.
The shield reduces it to 22 LBP but without it would be much worse. You just didn't spend enough time in there for it to rise above 24. And yes, you're expected to deal with the damage.
The more you advance in the game the less organic enemies you find, so I advise you not to hoard your incendiary ammunition as it gets kinda useless later on. Also, the magnum is quite good against armor, I would not waste it on cameras. As a rule of thumb, it's better to use your energy for defense (shields) and utility (like sensearound or the boots) and your conventional ammunition for offense. If you run low on ammo, you can always fall back on energy weapons as a backup.
Noted. I’ve begun adjusting the loadout in the latest ep (16…?) as of this comment. Yeah, I’m starting to notice the power of the magnum against cyborgs, it’s quickly become my favorite staple. So satisfying to shoot.
Didn't you get the damage mod for the Magnum? If so, press the button you use to toggle energy levels/ammo types & it should activate a laser that will "lock-on" to enemies and deal higher damage as long as you KEEP aiming at them. Also, the laser can lock-on to objects, and each lock uses 1 point of energy, so make sure to toggle it off when you don't need it.
I think you should just recycle all the dog tags, after a certain point you may recall from the first game, that you cannot go back, so hoarding stuff there isn't going to make a lot of difference.
After I beat the first in-progress chess game, I had to then beat a full game before the door to the upgrade would open.
Oh damn, that’s rough. I’ll bet the AI was a beast, too.

It's over SHODAN, I have the high ground!
Maybe the red cameras are linked into the station intranet while the blue ones are local/tied to a single terminal?
Citadel logic 🧐

I noticed that afterward. That sucks, I enjoy exploring.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie you could always take multiple short runs, gradually clearing the grove

Wait, there’s a lock-on?!!! Why aren’t any of these introduced properly??!!!
Yea you just gotta do Beta Grove while taking some damage.
I HATE levels like this, they’re so stressful.

Absolutely not. They will be remembered, honoured, and avenged. Except Diego. Fuck that sellout.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Hahaha, OK :)
