@GhostOGKush You can do cross-up tatsu to sweep on every single character... What you're thinking about is regular light kick tatsu to sweep, which doesn't work on Ryu and a few other characters like Ken, Blanka and Bison to name a few.

He's not bad, he's just a lot better at SFIII I think. SFIV is a completely different game... I was seriously worried when I switched from 3S to this because I sucked so bad. It took me a long time to get used to SFIV but now I love it, probably my favorite one. But yeah, it's a tough game to be good at and he IS up against Alex Valle, so I see how he had difficulties

Just because someone doesnt have high BP or PP online doesnt mean they aren't great competitve players offline. Also Jr plays a pretty solid akuma. Comparing people to Daigo isnt exactly the best thing to do.

It is not guilty gear with the insane combos, or marvel with the dhc's, cross over combo's, and insane rush down. Doesn't make it a bad game, it just makes it a DIFFERENT game. You can always NOT watch the videos for it, or ever play it. I'm not fond of blazblue after trying it, but I don't go to the videos complaining lol. Hakumen at evo was insane though.

You're confusing variety with skill? That poke is fair damage and pretty safe on block. Repetition can kind of train your opponent just to crouch block, and EX Axe kick is an overhead. There's really not a good reason to do anything else in that situation against Akuma.

It's a litle disgusting the way valle is playing these matches. Focus attack level 3, heavy huricane kick in your face and spamming the axe kick in the corner. But still, it's valle, often he looks random. Nice matches :)

I used to do it back in vanilla when i mained Ryu, it really is a nice trick. I still do it with Oni from time to time actually lol.
