If the words were any louder it would be a loud scream into a microphone. It just sounds that way to me anyway. Turn it up and try to hear the words, it almost sounds like Death Metal. Reminds me a lot of some Juno Reactor tracks for sure, they are definetely leaning a bit into some old school trance vibes with this one
God, Warframe's music team really don't miss, do they? I can't wait to see what this update has for us.
Genuinely it blows my mind that DE is able to develop so many amazing tracks from so many different genres and all have them fit within the same game.
In the past few updates we went from an amazingly beautiful Opera song, to a 90s boyband, to an epic angelic choir.

I’m honestly stunned that a studio who makes a free-to-play game has so much passion and love for their game enough to show it through their crazy good music and mind-tickling stories. Like for real, my mind continues to be blown by DE. I sincerely hope they continue to have high muse and love for Warframe.

@@fltfathintons. A few of them have unique sounds too. I believe Octavia and Nezha are still in the current prime Resurgence rotation. You can find a prime shawzin there that sounds amazing
This ost gives me such a clear mental image of an orphaned dax turned warframe, using samurai bladework to fuel her revenge, going on a murder spree at the plains of eidolon on a stormy night, as the thunder rhymes with her sword strikes and her massacare dyes the river with scarlet blood.
Warframe is one of these games that manage to incorporate a gorillion different types of music styles into one and make it sound good

I love "Murum Vull" especially the last part which is my favorite part I even put that on loop on my orbiter, and this sounds so similar to that, I hope they make this track farmable too or purchasable with Aya.

There's Infested motifs in the theme, so I take it that it's gonna be an infested theming.
Interesting... I wonder how that will play into what we know so far. Perhaps Koumei will be another Cetus protector like Gara, given that I think they told us or showed us that the quest will take place on Cetus. Perhaps specifically around the ghouls and Operation Plague Star?
Oh yeah true! The melody and instrumentation also remind me of the Labs/the Murmur, and to a lesser extent the Archon battle theme from TNW. Regardless, this goes SO HARD and I cannot wait to see what context the update brings for it lol

@@elseggs6504 those are just a fraction of the weapons, generally speaking there's a good mix of eastern and western gear in the arsenal
Eastern are things like throwing knives and shuriken, the 2 kinda of nikana, tekko (maybe fists in general, but the tekko most definitely), a selection of poles and staves and a handful across the other types (e.g. daikyu, zarr probably).
Western being things like most of tbe modernish pistols, heavy blades, specifically the dark weapons, other bows and pole/staves (cernos, orthos etc.)
Also ofc the completely fantastical weapons (arm cannons as a whole, grimoire, most infested weapons)

This seems really interesting, the start is an urgent panic, possibly running from someone before pushing that back for the Narmer/Veilbreaker motif. Soon that motif turns to the Infested violin screeches...
If I had more time, I would 100% go over everything i hear, but i'll let Marco try and find the motifs and disassemble the music with greater knowledge.
But, If I had to guess, it has something to do Narmer and the Infested in some way.
