- Here is a look at the 1/8 scale winch from 3 Racing. In this video I unbox it, show the comparison between the 1/8 and the 1/10 winch. I then install it and try it on both 2s and 3s lipo, showing how strong it is.

Love the 3 racing winch, i run all my stuff on 3s but kept burning the controller. Now i use a castle micro sidewinder esc for the controller. My rig weighs right at 10lbs and it'll snatch it right up
bigsid00 Ive since changed to a servo winch after 2 winches and 3 controllers. Never one issue and I can lift 3 fully loaded rigs!

I just need a closer look at how you setup your top links and if you had to do anything else I just want to be able to run longer shocks get little bit more travel thanks for your help

nice man i just got a winch for my scx10 so Stoked to use it. but i just got a wroncho project and i wunt to flip the trany and use allthred like u did for urs but u cant see how u did it in ur other vid if u can help that wuld be way cool

even when you plug into the receiver do you still need to hook to battery as well?

Christa Rohrbach I have since changed to a Servo winch. Be careful using 3s, if the winch binds up or is struggling then stop it. I did burn up 2, but I was pushing them very hard at G6 events. If possible get a servo winch. Buy a medal gear servo from Hobby Partz, the Solar D772 works killer and its super strong, then you take it apart and modify it a bit, bam you have a VERY strong winch. @@Moyersteven1 is ther a way I can convert these to a free spool easily and cheaply as I don't wasn't to pay £65+ and a servo to engage the free spool
What car are you running the winch on at 6:26?
Is there a way to make a servo with a timer used to pull a door open at sunrise and let it slide down at sunset automatically everyday? It's for a chicken coop.

Can i put a wifi chip in two more servos and control them wirelessly from the arduino, or do you need to use infraread to control them from the arduino, or should i get each servo it's own personal arduino?

Are you noticed that? i am a rc scaler lover but in the past i have made some EVP experiments with good results, and during your video i was focalised (is this term right? i am italian) by that strange voice...i'm pretty sure it's not a normal noise...it's a classic...and this is the second time i can hear these strange voice in a video on youtube...even if i am not sure about Evp origin of this one...but it seems to be...

That would be a child or tv, the other noise is a phone vibrating.
