Thanks for the patreon Steamkey Gary! From 2020, it's 2D platformer EVAN'S REMAINS. Looks super-chill, and has a very distinctive art-style. I heard good things when this game came out. Cheers!

Good Stuff. I got like 28 of these, many on Multicarts, and many were good. The Feng Shin Ying one was released and fully Translated by Piko Interactive and I did buy a copy. I plan to get to it but have a few other games I wanna get through 1st. I never actually saw footage of a lot of these games and just saw the name on lists of Sega Games. Thanks for this one. And Yang Warrior Family is also Translated by Piko and isn't the number 1 best, but isn't awful once you get the hang of it. I wrote a text review of it on my Blog a while ago.
Thanks! If you haven't already seen it, here's an older video on this channel that had some awesome MD titles on it: th-cam.com/video/8SLlchpyWVw/w-d-xo.html
Y'know, I've looking for a certain game. Actually you play as a caveman with... a flail at start, and you only have ONE life in order to complete the whole game (which we could call it a metroidvania) in a magic land filled with magic and monsters. The HUD has your life gauge in a bottle in a corner and your inventory is shown too. I know Megadrive isn't the only platform where it was released. But can't remind further info
I'd swear I vaguely remember a game magazine, reviewing that Sumo game back in the day. I presume they looked at it, as a curiosity that would get some attention and fill a page of the magazine, with little effort. Plus they probably got to throw in some barely funny fat jokes.
Surprisingly. sumo wrestling games aren't completely unpopular in Japan. Over on the SNES there were at least 3 different sumo wrestling games that I've come across. However, much like the one pictured in this video, they were never exported to the West...
Remember getting to the final boss of Empire of steel and not being able to beat it, the last boss is a bullet sponge, literally wasted 5 minutes trying to kill
Great video, BUT the tag with the name of the game stands in the way and occludes vision. Id suggest a smaller one, all the way down, if not completely out of the view.
Played an few of these such as warriors of the eternal sun, green Dog, James pond : robocod , hook, bran stokers Dracula , the page master, The Tick , Ren and stimpy , and Ernest evens to name an few (which other than Bram Stokers Dracula and Ren and Stimpy ) I have in my collection of Sega Genesis/ Mega Drive titles thanks to an Rich kid with an easily bored attitude who after an few game runs gets bored of various games and or machines after an while , because thanks to that rich brat, I’ve got an PS2/PS3, PSP/ Vita and an Nintendo DS/3DS because that kid got bored of them only two months after their successor systems Came out in stores…so I’ve played 11 of these 105 game titles and have 9 of them ….( he tosses them in thrift stores)..
I have Puzzle & Action Tanto-R. It's a decent proto-WarioWare party game, tho the sequels are definitely better (Puzzle & Action Treasure Hunt on Saturn is a favorite)
Anyone that like turrican I highly recommend Universal Soldier. It’s basically a reskinned turrican with a few level changes. Great game!

Earnest Evans has the greatest bass line in video game history. The music for stage 1 is one of the best tracks on the system.
@@paxhumana2015 Sprites are great too, yes. Great looking and sounding game for sure.

Counted exactly 30 of those which I've played so far. Some great unknowns in there! Great vid!
Awesome! Always after cool Mega Drive games, and your lists rule. Thanks man!

Found it.
Shadow of the Beast II.
Power Drive was the most underrated game EVER made.
I'd swear I vaguely remember a game magazine, reviewing that Sumo game back in the day.

we need more rare sega games!
Psycho Pinball is still worth to play.
Great video, BUT the tag with the name of the game stands in the way and occludes vision. Id suggest a smaller one, all the way down, if not completely out of the view.
Incorrect title, as I happen to own and play some of these gems. 😎
