i did get some before mostly scaled KO, but i get it for modding work, customization and re-painting of colors and experiment design - i own some FGO like Altria but i repaint it for my different color studies cus sometime i don't like the color of the original and paint-job which sometimes sloppy. But i do own prize figure of FGO and some scaled by Alter, GSC, Kotu, Maxfactory, Megahouse...I'm more into girl figures with weapons (fire-arms) and blade (sword & katana). If you want to avoid issues its best to buy the authentic & original and if you're tight on budget better start with "prize figure" or trading figure which is bit smaller than prize - cus they are a lot cheaper. Oftentimes with KO/BL it depends on the manufacturers and also 50/50 hit and miss with the quality cus they dont have quality control or checker cus its unlicensed from the original creator. I do know XINHAO made some good KO and on almost on par with original cus i got their ALISA God Eater copy, and FATE Saber in motorbike which i repainted, but its sometimes pathetic some mainland China sellers over-priced them - so best get the original.

@@Xtonishingyeah!!! its superior to KO or BL, for that matter cus they have quality control personnel involved in checking workers paint craftsmanship and paint color & application consistency in which KO or BL don't have for that matter bec. they don't want to do another overhead cost esp. only they are just copying it and which also explains why for example scale figs are pricey cus of the high level craftsmanship in figure and painting as oppose to prize which are just basically standard level of paint works except in some TAITO figs which on rare cases are on par with scale figures, also KO or BL molding are just a copy itself which degrades bec the details of the original molding isn't there anymore-its lost thru repeated copying. Buying authentic better but also buying it with a degree of scrutiny bec. its not easy throwing some money on some scales which are pricey but not worth on it on the degree of detail, sculpt and figure consistency as reference to the actual anime...which to some might be subjective i tend to buy scale on a high degree level of scrutiny than prize figs bec. some are overboard pricey which sometimes doesn't manifest on the figure...but buying the original is the way to go if you want to avoid plaguing issues as you pointed out on your video.
