You can even see in the video no block 70/72 uses the usaf colors, rather of other countries entirely: it's an export version for countries with want to operate with 5th gen fighters but don't have the money or US confidence to buy them, in plain words (I really doubt Russia is producing signigicant numbers, if any of SU-57, so it's not a 5th gen exporter; china's J-20 has also never been exported, as good ole chinese doctrine demands - so only a bunch of NATO and allied countries can access to 5th gen jets - at least until India may enter the group, as they're developing one as well).

And no, propulsion isn't delayed, that will cause any tiltrotor to immediately drop altitude.

    It's a shame to see the F-15, once hailed as the greatest air superiority fighter in the world, slowly morph into an extremely deadly dump truck.

    • @martinjrgensen8234
      @martinjrgensen8234 ปีที่แล้ว

      Uhm. It always was. The F-15 hasn’t achieved its reputation because it is a dog fighter. It’s ludicrously powerful radar and large payload is the reason why it has always been so deadly.

    I understand the desire to be the most powerful military in the world, or at least one part in a group of Countries that would act as one, becoming he most powerful military in the world for justice sake. But we are beyond out of control. We have poor American Citizens suffering and dying every day whilst we spend countless trillions, attempting to remain an insanely oversized military that by its very existence requires war to ensure its survival.
    Let's have the best military, and even by a decent margin. But we could help millions of Citizens by simply not building a few fighter jets here or a destroyer/submarine there. Cheers.

    when rotors are tilted forwards it looks like the rotors are in the way for v247 vigilant to be able to fire it's missiles,
    does v247 vigilant need to tilt it's rotors upwards to be able to fire it's missiles?

    • @joshuathompson5826
      @joshuathompson5826 ปีที่แล้ว

      No not really because the missiles would most likely be dropped beyond the rotor blades than the ignition system would be engaged
