Hey im planning to join mechatronics course in Waterloo for masters program in jan 2024...so does waterloo have accomodation ? Is it good? Or we have to rent outside and stay? Also, should I need to have any expertise of my course before joining there?
Hi, it totally depends on you. I like my personal space so I loved a single, they are usually quite social but they are not as social as doubles usually. The "sociability" of your floor totally depends on the people on your floor too because I had friends in doubles that did not have an interactive floor. If you are outgoing and can share a room I would recommend a double because there are more opportunities to meet people. An apartment-style is a good mixture of both because you have your own room in a mini apartment with 4-5 people.
Hi, it totally depends on your school and the style of the dorm. You can usually find prices on the website. The cheapest option is a double with a shared floor bathroom and the most expensive is a single with a semi-private bathroom (which is what I have) or your own washroom. I think the apartment style is also pricy. Hope this helps!
Lived here in 2003! This room organization is next level! The pranks pulled in the hallway of 4C were legendary.
I accepted y offer and this is the exact res i was looking for! there's like no videos on this so thank you so much!!!
Great video. My son is going there in Sept. Curious if he room includes a desk chair or do we bring our own?
Don't even know how I got here, but lived in WCH in 2002 the first year it was built. Pretty much how I remember it. Super fun res!
Your dorm looks very organized but the bed is kinda small. Is there a chance to switch for a bigger one?
unfortunately not but its bigger than it looks!

this video is so helpful thank you:) also is there a way to request this exact building or is it randomized?
you can request the type of room but not the building!!
Would you recommend a single dorm or double dorm? Are the people still social in a single dorm? Thanks!

I’m moving into wch in a month, just wondering where did you get your over the door hangers from?
I think walmart!
wait so you have your own bathroom? is there a shower that comes with a single room??
Hi I shared a bathroom with one other person. They had a door on the other side. It had a toilet and a shower then you had a sink in your room!
Is there in laurier? I was looking recently that university and I think so
Hi! I would love to help you out but could you just reword your question I just don’t understand and it. Thanks

hey im moving into wch this year! does ur washroom come with a shower curtain or do you need to bring one?
Theres a shower door that clicks shut
theres a glass shower door no need for a curtain!!!! btw youll love WCH
is this a single or a double or an apartment style
it's single with a semi-private bathroom shared with another person in a different single room
How’s the kitchen area? Where is it
There is a kitchen in the common space but it’s not well taken care of, I wouldn’t recommend cooking in it unless you have a clean floor group!
What's the rent?
What are costs of dorms could u plz help??
