Hahahahahaha. It was what drew me to watch this video but definetely not new for me. A lot of these are built natively into DR and no need to purchase plugins for them. These are afterthoughts in PP. Three years editing exclusively in DR and I don't think am going back. Thanks for the useful tutorials, Sir.
😅😅😅 Beat Edit is available for Da Vinci Resolve as well, all hope is not lost. Premiere does pack more flexibility and plugins compared to Resolve but I use both.
You're right. So far I think these won't make me go back to Premiere. A number of these are natively in DR already. PP is playing catch-up at this point
Cinema grade is definetly my favorite plugin here. Love how it has made color grading so so so much easier and saves so much time. In love with this one man
Beat edit would be an absolute game changer for me! I can't even begin to imagine the countless times I've sat tapping away on M to place my own makers and then gone back and repositioned things. So excited!!!! Thanks for making this content, super helpful!
I hate to say it but the thumbnail made me have to mention that that new bmp grid tool in fairlight is even more powerful than beat edit. Since it's just using the bpm math it's easy to line up and sure it doesn't have beat detection, but you don't need it if you know the songs bpm, since most stock libraries tell you this, it's easy to figure it out. annnnd Resolve also have dynamic zoom built in too, no keyframes required, also built in. Easy frame and layout and automatically adjusts the duration as you adjust the clip length. Oh yah and Resolve's project archive tool is very powerful too for offloading projects and all linked media. Okay I'm done!
True, i'm a davinci video editor and one thing that i envy for premiere pro is the amount of plugins that it has but the plugins showed on this video does not really look needed
DR is king, for sure. At least at the moment it seems to be. Adobe better have some AMAZING AI features coming to both PR and AE if they wan't to compete. I paid for the Studio version of DR, but have been drawn to PR lately, most because of the thousands of templates available on Envato Elements. I do also like Layer baed editing like PR and AE have. I am a huge PS user. I've been looking for a comparison video, but is Magic Mask in DR better then RotoBrush 2.0 in AE? I've been using the latest beta of PR lately, I haven't had a single crash yet. I'm on a Mac Studio.
TH-cam isn't representative of reality. In the professional world, most people seem to use Premiere. A lot of TV editors still use Avid but almost every freelancer I know works in Premiere, and a few in Final Cut. I've yet to meet anyone who uses Resolve.
@@tangibleplanetvisualmedia1138 it just a matter of time....just wait as the new generations go into the workforce and start opting/suggesting for Resolve. Its hard to keep up with the amazing features and great development cycles.
I also use both. I prefer premiere for everything aside from deep color grading. But honestly with braw studio and the filmconvert plugins I only use DaVinci for troublesome clips.
Cinema grade plugin in premiere is something I was looking forward to for quite a while now. It’s really easy to use and an actual game changer ! Another plugin that I love is premiere composer for basic sound design. Saves me a lot of time.
I switched from sony vegas to premiere pro and since watching your guides and good advice I dare say it's the best decision I've made. Good job old mega good atmosphere and a mega good movie.
It has been about a year since I switched from using Vegas Pro to Premiere Pro for video editing. However, I am currently facing challenges in color grading. To improve this aspect of my work, I plan to use the Cinemagrade plugin, which I believe will help me take my color grading to the next level.
A lot of these are really, really good. Although I think Beat Edit is one of those plugins that almost everyone could use on most of their projects! Cinema Grade also looks incredibly intuitive and easy to use, it would definitely streamline the colour grading process, especially when you're using stock footage etc.
I'm editing right now, next time release an hour earlier 🤣. I'm going to use Beat Edit because I make content for my wife's news channel. Often her background music and her reporting cadence conflict. Having more control over that in a way that doesn't require two hours of searching is amazing.

Its been a while since I stopped editing in Premiere. Have they fixed the crashing galore software? Or will these plugins also get in the way and help chug the machine? 😅
Nice jab at DaVinci Resolve , but as much as this Plugins may possibly change your life , do they make Premiere be stable , will it make it faster, incompatible file format important , no even to talk about the bad dynamic link and bloated after effects plus will it change the subscription model etc . These plugin are extra cost on top of the monthly or yearly fee of Adobe . just my cents .
I have to give it to "BEAT EDIT"!!!...Hi, JEB Films here, music and/or the sound of my projects are very important to me, so Beat Edit has always been an amazing tool for me. 👍
According to my personal experience and the things I am struggle with, of course that all the plugins are very useful, but in the end I choose Storyboard Maker. Thank you for your shares and great work!

I wish smart collect was already native in PrPROJ... hate getting a dump of assets with no organization from other editors because of how PrPROJ collects. Drag Zoom Pro is my fav from this list. Thanks for the video Josh!
I have to agree with avdcam, this stuff that you mention its already build in, in resolve, like the color warper its like cinemagrade and don't forget cinemagrade comes for Davinci, when you get the option like, magic mask, power windows or lets say something close to the color page, than they might be getting close to what resolve its all about. I think you need to change your thumbnail.
Personally, I think a lot of these are in Davinci Resolve already and it crash less. With resolve, I won't have to buy these plug-ins and continue to pay monthly fees for the NLE, unless I'm using the one made by Jack Sparrow🏴☠ Something just tells me that all of these are afterthoughts and are reasons why Premiere will not stop crashing.

Drag Zoom Pro is really cool, as I edit a video with zooming in and out it produces wiggly effect like if you zoom in a lot and you put position keyframe on it it doesn't go smooth
I got Cinema grade in 2022's November sale, it's very awesome but shame for me- Upgraded my mac to a M1 processor and the plugin isn't costumed for those :( waiting for an update and recomanding it at the same time...

Zoom in and out transition is viral and everybody is using this in their videos like Mr beast.
My favorite plugin, used in this video.., but not mentioned in this video, is, the text flicker animation here 0:03, here 0:05, and so on.. I know you must have made the preset manually, but it is so subtle and smooth and awesome that it can be used in so many videos :)
