The attention to detail in these maps is amazing. From all the set pieces, to the brickwork on the buildings in this map for instance, and the foliage, etc…
Because rn even the first level suspects shoots like the terrorists do in neon tomb I just think there needs to be more variables with the suspect reaction making the game more suspenseful
There is a mod for that. Right into Mods button in game's menu. AI Overhaul or like that. It makes untrained suspects slower and with weaker morale, but military suspects are more tactical and agressive.
I love when games incorporate movies or some real life events in their content. The 13 hours soldiers of Benghazi and the Modern Warfare “1” mission was so dope. This mission is icing on the cake 😊 hopefully they keep doing inspired based maps.
What Mission is based on 13 hours?
@@DeadManSinging1 The mission in COD modern warfare “The Embassy” has similarities to the CIA compound from the movie 13 Hours secret soldiers of Benghazi
I hope they can put a hidden mission in some levels in the future. Even if it is not completed, it will not affect the main plot. When the player discovers it, additional events can be triggered.That would be very challenging.😊
Can also be used to unlock some secret stuff for your character?
Really like that idea, reminds me of the side missions in Cold War.
More maps where you fight Terrorist cells , Gangsters and Cartels would be nice
To be fair, every map already has armies of gangsters & terrorists. Even the streamer map where it's a guy with a hostage has his own army of 10 fully trained terorists with rifles protecting him.
To a certain extent, the game is primarily a terrorist search & destroy game which isn't a bad thing, but it's definitely a departure from SWAT 4.

I find it kinda funny you're talking to the AI like they're human players...like um, calling out "hold on hold on" isn't going to make them react at all lol
The tunnel area reminds me of the tunnel fight in Rambo: Last Blood and Sicario.
Yeah, I see what VOID was going for with the SWAT AI, but they break most of the time, getting themselves or myself killed.
Good map, I really enjoyed it, and the Suspect AI weren’t crazy cracked.
This one has some serious "Sicario" movie vibe in it !
Kudos to the voice actors as Informant and Blake, has alot of Breaking Bad vibe to them that is a bit over the top
They really need to expand the cavern parts of the level, it’s so big I feel they could do more with it (as much as I love the tunnels!-)
The hostile screaming over all those GSWs could probably use a few more. 🤣

You don't scan closed doors. Technically you're supposed to "hold" on closed doors, but this is with AI and I had one right next to me. Applause to the suspect for popping out and immediately nailing me, but when you're focusing on a priority of work, I'm not just gonna stare at the door.
@@OfficialInvictus Yeah, I'm just busting you chops man. That suspect came out at the worst time too, right as you passed in front of your teammate so he couldn't immediately engage. I also wouldn't necessarily disagree with what you did, but since it was on your way back to your guys I personally would have done it a bit differently. I would have faced the door as I passed by it, so that if it either, opens; to be able to address the threat, or if they just decided to shoot through the door; facing it presents the biggest plate you have in between you and the shooter. But that's just my take, and it's a game anyway so who cares right?
This game reminds me more of the original Rainbow Six & Rogue Spear game, my all time favourite game. I'm going to have to pick it up! I haven't gamed in years because of all the crap that's been released in the last 5-10 years. The last game I bought was Insurgency Sandstorm.
What are your PC specs? Mine doesnt run HALF this smooth.

This really showcases how differne the AI is in the game from how it was advertised in the 1.0 AI release. I've had nothing but issues with the AI since the 1.0 release. They're in my way, they're not moving, they're not arresting people, they're not picking up evidence, they're team killing. It's REALLY annoying. The best thing you can do for the AI is run the no crack for you AI mod.
EXACTLY i was gonna get a S on "Greased Palms" and stupid me thought swat ai would arrest the LAST suspect but nope then he unloads on my team killing two

I think the ai doesn't need to be toned down just tweaked where there is more unpredictability where sum surrender and sum don't and sum shoot well and others don't based on what gang or faction their in
There's just this awful unbalance. Some of us want more of an authentic experience, while the devs were aiming for more of an arcadey feel. I've been told they devs straight up admitted that they wanted the suspects to be unrealistically aggressive to add additional difficulty. Rather than making it more fair. In real life, most of the suspects SWAT officers are faced with, aren't immediately a deadly threat. From what I've seen, 90% of the time, my encounters result in shots fired, even with grenades.
I agree, I feel like factions like Bolton would be tough, but quick to surrender since they are in it for a paycheck. I think the hardest level seems to be Post Office at the moment. I had quite a lot of retries getting wall banged by the gangsters.
@@OfficialInvictusyeah the ai currently is robocop levels insane. Had a guy yesterday stare down my 5 man squad for almost a minute after a bugged breach, and after being screamed at while at gunpoint for an actual minute, he magdumped two of my team in the face before the friendly ai even reacted

I used Navy SEAL tactics and loadouts to clear this map the moment I read this was a tunnel map.
There’s eyes in the tunnel… they are watching, tread carefully in this map… might be the last time you play this game. *The eyes see everything*
It's not dark enough to even need a flashlight let alone NVGs.
I will admit, this level is frustrating with the wallbanging EST ai enemies.

I love Ready or Not but I wonder if maybe some more optimization is coming? I can run most games 60FPS+ but RoN fluctuates between 40-90 FPS rapidly and randomly. Sometimes when looking at my teammates it drops to 20-30 FPS
Run it in DX12
They will, keep in mind this is literally the 1.0 update and they added in a ton of stuff...the game was ALWAYS going to have some hiccups with such a big release. Next few updates will fix a lot of the issues most likely.
Also, try DX12, made things better for me though light sources and large groups of AI do still seem to cause some frame drops, but they're more manageable with DX12
Anyone else have a problem with their team members executing suspects when you ask them to arrest them?

Getting a bit of second-hand frustration with the stream viewers you're talking to. If they want someone to play the game their way they should play it themselves, or find a streamer without a spine. It's like they think they control streamers just because they donate to them. 🤣
