I wouldn’t have scored SU twice when they played back to back. Jsu was o my respecting the announcement which they are asked to do each game. They honor professor of the game. I hate that jsu use zero qtr to do all this extra shit but still jsu was doing what was asked of them.

What you could not know if you were not at the game is that the zero quarter was cut short because there were other activities going on the field. When the Announcer said that was the end of the zero quarter JSU stopped playing but SUcks rude and disrespectful directors kept their band playing through all of the JSU home team on field pre game activities. JSU only played when between the activities. You can hear the announcer in the background through much of the playing.
That was poor planning on JSU part. Why would you have a ceremony in the middle of a battle. Should have done that at halftime or before the game even started.
I would like to first say that considering the two bands that were performing. The entertainment level was spot on, which was to give the crowd loud. And to be honest, their mission was accomplished, they both were successful. Yet much was sacrifice. When it came to musicianship the terms, hanging over, articulation, balance and hitting wrong notes are often side notes in this battle. Which in many respects is often unfair ( to other bands) yet expected during this battle. My assessment, the zero was a blast fest and the fifth had it's moments, but mistakes were obvious on both sides.
JSU def won the Zero every song was played well. I see SU played more songs because JSU was trying to respect the announcer while SU played over them. JSU was just cleaner to me. And SU need they butt whooped for that (Can you stand the Rain) it was just dry, like they use to sing that song through the instruments, its not the same

These two bands are "men" among bands. JSUs best song us the 1st one they played. Shoulda saved it for the 5th. Pretty evenly matched this year.
