Here are some Funfacts about this Fight: Ganondorfd Weapons are based on the ones of a Samurai, yes, not only the Sword but also the club and the Bow are based on Asian Weapons. You can Flurry Rush his Flurry rush as well when you time it perfectly. His Gloom Projectiles completely take away your hearts and if you try to hit them with any Weapon or try to block it with any shield, this will cause them to break (almost) instantly. Even the Hylian Shield, which has a default durrability of 800, can be reduced to just one and then break at the next hit, every Weapon you use to try to hit back these Projectiles will break instantly, however you can use the Restored Master Sword to reflect his Projectiles and turm tjem into some form of Divine Fireballs to damage Ganondorf. And during the Phase of the Demon Dragon the Master Sword literally is the most powerful weapon you have with it's base damage going from 30 to 300, which honestly makes sense - the more evil the Demon the more effective is the Sword
Been holding off for months on watching your playthrough until I finished the game. I finally beat it last week and your reaction did not disappoint. It was pretty much the same as mine, just trying not to cry and then crying hard at the end. 😭💖 Princess Zelda's story in this really made it feel like we were being shown the "Legend of Zelda." Also this was the best looking version of Ganondorf we've gotten. That Gerudo outfit he wore along with the katana was so 🔥
This final boss fight was everything I wanted from tears of the kingdom. It had me in awe the entire time and was honestly peak Zelda. Personally i don't know where I'd rank TotK since i see it going hand in hand with botw. As always, great reaction Aly! Glad to see you enjoyed the game and cried just like i did lol.
Sorry for giving you this tip, but those Gloom energy waves Ganondorf sends at you in either his first form or second form, you can deflect them back at him with the Master Sword, and when they surround you, you have to do a spin attack to make them hit Ganondorf.
Loved the video I beat the game myself recently and have been watching tons of videos since you actually have pretty good recognition and pulled some nice moves during the final fight with Ganon like when you back flipped into the paraglider when he does that one attack and during his 3rd phase when you cornered him I think you might've actually deflected all those dark projectiles unintentionally because of how close you were it looked awesome though
The fact that they made you play through a 200 hour game and then just before the ending, just as things are about to come full circle and Link reaches out to Zelda... THEN they drop the OG Zelda theme. Man it hits like a truck.
While I like how BotW's DLC added stuff for you to do before you finish the game, I REALLY hope that any TotK DLC will extend the story after defeating Ganon! That said, I strongly suspect that we're going to learn more about the other 3 dragons. 1. Their names are VERY similar to the three goddesses that created Hyrule, in Mythology from previous games. 2. We know that the Zonai are "allegedly" descended from Gods, though that's open to interpretation. 3. We know that Draconification has occurred at LEAST once in the ast, for Mineru to know of it!
@SweetheartAlyy I certainly wouldn't be against it. Heck, might be fun having her as a playable character. But I think that if they DO go that far back, it will be a whole separate game, like Age of Calamity was to Breath of the Wild.
My second favorite of all time. The depth and the whole map your in is unbelievable. The level of detail in this game which took 10 years to make is unprecedented
I love this game. On my second playthrough and waiting for that inevitable DLC where they add all kinds of new stuff like Master Mode or whatever. lol It's upsetting to know that no one gave Purah any attention until TotK, even though she was all over Age of Calamity and partially playable to boot. Her design in AoC is based on her concept design for BotW. I know people will whine that it's "nOt CaNOn" but that's not really an excuse to ignore that game because it was written by the same people that wrote BotW and TotK so the story is very much it's own canon with the same canon characters.

The whole community treats consoles like xbox, and ps, and other things like they are the center of gaming. But they aren't. Yet, nintendo made a deal to put trash ass Call of Duty. Bruh, nintendo is waiting money to make COD for the console, when that's the only thing COD fans will buy.
I think Mario games are probably easier to produce, they are more simplistic and gameplay focused where Zelda games are a LOT bigger and story/character focused 💖
