I’ve dabbled with making poses before but never tried anything like this. I can see how this could be really useful (and now I understand how others get such amazing pics). Thanks for explaining even the simple steps like extending the panel/screen width. A lot of beginner tutorials assume a base level knowledge which is fine if you have that but really confusing if you don’t. But this feels like a -real- beginner tutorial :)

All tutorials I learned from assumed I was able to do all these things already while I really couldn’t .. and I lost a lot of time .. where if the person would have just give that little piece of info it would have gone a lot easier 🫣 that’s why I made this video .. glad you found it helpful ☺️☺️ hope this helps you making poses someday ! It’s all about just keep trying and doing it. Until you don’t need a video to show what to do anymore 🙈🙈 Photoshop is also a big one to learn ! 😯😯 how long have you been at it ?
@@LunaWendee Well I actually had a class in high school but we learned the basics then tried a couple years ago and now I’m just getting into it again to make thumbnails for my videos. I used it for the vid I uploaded today but it’s still bothering me. Ugh.
@@pugglesimmer yeah.. also these programs change so much over the years. If you took classes like years ago things are probably different from when you learned it 😕 or it was like that in my case anyway .. 🙈
Thank you for this! I've been looking for how to override the base sim model that we're given from S4S for a specific one that has more details (like fingernails) so I can see what I'm doing. The only problem I'm having with your method is that my sim does the pose but with her back to the "floor" of the workspace instead of standing up like it is in my original pose. Rotating her to stand upright just messes up the pose. =(

Hmmmm - did you do the appending correct ? Sorry.. it’s so difficult to help just by replying on TH-cam :( not seeing the screen or anything. Maybe try appending again.. that’s all I can think of
hey, this tutorial is perfect! but, does 3d lashes on my sim wont work on blender? my sim has some 3d lashes and in the game and ts4 ripper is completely fine, but in blender it makes them like boxes? do i take them off?
@@LunaWendee yeah, i have kijiko ea eyelash remover, but a CC eyelash was making this issue, it worked perfectly fine when i changed the lashes to another one . ! :)

Hii so i instaled ts4 ripper just fine but when i put the file of the game yk it appears a message saying that is missing some archives (the deformation map and some others kinda of the model iguess?)but i just ignore- then when i click on the sim name (no cc) to start, appears a error"without exception, if i click in continue whatver it doesn't seems to actually work, i cant find anywhere a way to fix it soo if anyone see this plss give me a tip lol😭😭😭 im considering even trying ninja ripper
The first note I also get when I start mine (it popped up first time like a month ago) I just ignored .. and it works fine when I ignore it. Do you have the latest version of the ripper ? Maybe there was an update ? That’s what I’m gonna check first … I’m not the best keeping my programs / mods up to date 🫣 I only update when it’s no longer working 😂
@@LunaWendee mine is the 3 13 5.0 one i think its the lastest🙏 i wondering that was something with the game but idk!! It shows the "working" but it was tanking so much time (more than 3 hours or something and the pc is not that all slow) that i got worried since i dont have any mods or custom content 🤧 thanks for answering im going to send screenshots on the forum and see

This tutorial is AMAZING, but I'm stuck. After adding the pose as an Append, when I click Add, it says there are no active tracks to add strip to. This must be a simple fix, but I can't seem to wrap my mind around it. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Make sure you both have the rig clicked on AND the active track needs to be orange (I used to mess this op all the time) hope this helps - and thanks for watching my tutorial 💕
@@LunaWendee Did I miss a step? My rig and are both orange, but I can't seem to figure what's the active track :/ When I hover over Add Action Strip, it does show the name of the pose, but then it just doesn't work. :(

I think it’s easiest to work with CC in your game and get your sim to look as close to the celeb as possible (like i did here with Edward from twilight for instance th-cam.com/video/sKBf6w9GTJY/w-d-xo.html) And go in with photoshop afterwards for some final touches ☺️ It’s probably possible in blender but it will be more difficult I think ..

fixed it, just had to remove the lashes, and put new ones on my sim, idk why it showed up like that!
I also have an eyelash removal mod .. probably that was what solved the issue ☺️ glad this worked for you in the end !
