I just came across your video. You tried your best. Can I just say that the land is beautiful but you need to improve the fertility with organic manure which is cheap. Compost with animal/plant waste will do wanders. You have enough space if you really manage the land. Alfalfa last for 7 years injecting nitrogen to the soil,corn will follow to pickup nitrogen. If you have money, get some plastic green house like shade when the weather gets too hot. Make use of fence as well with ropes to plant climbing vegetables in a compost plastic bags. Good luck.
