First single from the Kill Em All album 00:00 - Jump in the Fire 04:33 - Whiplash (Special Neckbrace Remix) 08:50 - Seek & Destroy (Live) 15:55 - Phantom Lord (Live)
Bought this in the Import section at Licorice Pizza in Carlsbad(San Diego) in 85' it was only $5. Phantom Lord Live is what hooked me. Thanks JD for uploading this, it brings back good memories.
I heard that “Jump In The Fire” on Whiplash EP sounds 10x better than 1st Pressing of Kill ‘Em All on Megaforce Records. I owned both and I agree it does sound better on this EP. I prefer Reissue of Kill ‘Em All on Elektra/Asylum Records in Columbia House edition. Cliff’s Bass is very powerful on that one. Trust me, it’s the best.
A friend of mine gave me the 1-sided EP sometime between 85 and 87. He recorded Show No Mercy on the back side. My mom destroyed it. Just today, I found and purchased the original EP. Can't wait to hear it again. It was so much better than the K.E.A. album.
I had the One sided cassette .wore over time from playing the same side over and over...i ended up with the t-shirt that had whiplash spelled in cursive on back with the whip/killem all hammer on front...
My first vinyl purchase as a youngster... Then my parents threw it in the trash because it was dubbed "SATANIC" I paid 3 bux for it used at the Wyandotte record exchange back in 1984... It is now worth over 150 bux!!!!!
Thank you, stardate: waybackwhen Hey-former metalheads know.... Idk how hard my head is anymore The live B-side with the the songs flipped as opposed to their album order Thats the kinda thing you paid for

Wyandotte Mi? I grew up there in the 80s-90s and also ust to frequent the record exchange in the dot and in Southgate. The GREAT ol days
I just bought it on vinyl.
I have this on vinyl. Megadeth's Killing is my Business too.
Sounds like the so called live tracks on this and the jump in the fire single sound exactly the same.
thanks !
My favorite it's "Seek and Destroy" and "Metal Militia"
Had the cassette back in the day and played it to death. I much prefer this version of Seek and Destroy. You can actually hear the bass.
I remember way back Man, I bought this 4 song album thinking who the fuck are these guys? HAH!
