I saw this version in July 2012. In 2000 I was the first time with my family in the Walt Disney World. It was one of the greatest memories to visit it 12 years later again. We live in Austria and I hope, even though I am now 23 years old, to visit it with my family again. Walt Disney World is awesome!
I don't know why TH-cam recommended me this, but still... I loved this show, for me it's way better than the one that came after this. It really wraps up a day full of fun at the park, celebrating the memories we'll never forget. I love when the castle gets all those colors as the singer sings "go as far as dreaming will allooooooow" and everyone goes "whoa!", I've seen this show in person 3 lr 4 times and it happens every single time :)
makes me cry everytime...not just tear up, but physically tears streaming down my face of happiness. whether i'm there in person or just watching this video, this is the most spectacular thing to ever be brought to my life. thank you Disney, for this magical experience. The best part was seeing this with my best friends and family by my side!!!
Im 28 and never got to go to disneyworld until i was 24 and cird my eyes out walking down Mainstreet USA, life long Dream of mine to go. My family was so poor, i was always the one ordering the free planning DVD as a kid and watching it with hope that one day I would go then when i met my partner he took me on a surprise to DW from the UK knowing how important it was for me.....so blessed
This video does a good job of capturing the visual show, but you have to see it in person to grasp the sheer size of what they're pulling of during this show! I'm middle-aged, but was nearly gobsmacked watching this show while at WDW! Most excellent!!
Seeing this in person almost brought me to tears. It's such a beautiful and magical way to promote The Magic, The Memories, and You! The song by itself is wonderful.. I'm so happy you posted this! It brings me so much joy to see it even when I can't be there physically. I love Disney World more than anything!
So happy to see this! My little guy is still in it, I was afraid when they changed the show they'd take him out, but he's still there same place even. Sad I won't get to see in person this year. Looks amazing!
After Magic, Memories & You promotion is over, I hope the Magic Kingdom fully integrates their fireworks extravaganza with projection technology like they have for the Disney Dreams show at Disneyland Parc Paris. (there are great videos of that here). What a fantastic way to take these iconic castles to new heights. More interchangeable segments with a different mix every night would be awesome concept as well. I haven't seen a version of this show yet that I didn't like. Walt is smiling.
