The Orym scene hit so hard. I lost my best friend who I watched CR with at the beginning of June and he was always urging me to catch up with him so he could talk to me about it. He never got to watch episode 60. I was finally able to start watching again slowly a few months later and the Orym scene here genuinely reduced me to sobs. When we were watching it together, I never expected his storyline to resonate with me to this degree. Thank you, CR cast, for creating something that we both enjoyed so dearly and could talk about during his time here. The last message he read from me was me talking about this show, saying "like a bull in an underground corkscrew city". And I think that he'd have really wanted me to catch up with and finish this campaign.

I like how they (specifically Laura) considered episode 69 important enough to bring out the pictures with the entire cast for the TH-cam thumbnail. They usually only use those for big and monumental episodes. But I guess it being episode 69 was more than enough reason 😅

Even in character: it's the first time in a while since they were 1) able to feel like they accomplished something good and 2) were able to have some moments of just.... relaxing and fun, and being a bunch of chaos friends having a good night out. They all needed this. Both in character, and out of character. This was one also one of the most fun episodes in a long time too: I was laughing and smiling so hard for so much of this. It was so nice to see them all messing around and having fun: I missed these kind of episodes.

Sam can be very funny, but I do get a bit weary sometimes of almost every single thing he does being in the service of just trolling the table in some way. @@MarLar-fw8zyI think it’s very in character, actually. when imogen is putting on a front so to speak confidence and assertiveness comes easy to her (like when they snuck into the excavation site) but when she is just being herself in her everyday life she tends to be more awkward and unsure. it fits perfectly with her being super good at deception.
I love that Imogen is on track to being one of the most powerful beings in Exandria but her most prominent character trait is how she gets zero bitches
That whiplash change from Orym visiting his loved ones with contemplation and loss to "I put bees in his face" during a hang glider dogfight between Laudna and Chetny is hilarious.

@@xySuperManxy I really don't think that matter much anymore. Half the people there probably aren't even getting shots anymore. There is thousands of people who got it before and no longer get it. Plus if you've had it once or twice, you have largely better protection against it and it is no where near as bad as it was. A few years ago it wasn't, but now it is just another flu
Question: does Ashton wear the Hishari symbol as a proud/defiant message about where he comes from? Or does he wear it as message that he is what their mistake made? Taliesin has talked out of game about Ashton now learning that there might be someone to blame for everything he's angry about.
My guess is that it's a sort of bait. Anyone that sees it and recognizes it for what it is likely has either a connection to his past or information on those that would.
I'm a couple episodes behind so when I saw the thumbnail with the whole cast and the title I was like "WHAT HUGE EVENT/MILESTONE HAS TRANSPIRED" and after a few seconds I finally noticed the episode number 😅
This episode felt like a dream. The dog fight, Graz'zt acting like a moustache twirling cartoon villain, SHITHEAD LORE, all preceded by some very serious moments from Orym and FCG. The name of the episode's just the cherry on top.

I think most of the group is underestimating the importance of the Prime Deities in Exandria. They fought to preserve humanity against the Primordials and Betrayers that would unmake them. The Prime Deities literally went to bat for humanity and helped them win the Calamity. Sure, it was a horrible war, but it was necessary. Now the Gods need help...it's only right for Exandria to answer the call imo.
I didn't get emotional until I had the stray thought that the way he was talking about missing Derrig could easily be how he feels about his real life mother.

Something I have been wondering for several episodes, where is Vilia? I would think with Keyleth so injured her mother would be by her side. but then I supose she would have been able to get the flowers for Keyleth. I hope she is just out of town at the moment, and not dead. Keyleth deserves more than 10 years with her mother.
Liam is an incredible player. Grief is always a theme that I resonate with and Liam knocks it out of the park every time he gets to express it. Thank you for making me cry again Liam, sincerely.
What surprised me was Orym when he isn't actively addressing grief. Vax and Caleb spent a large amount of the campaigns outwardly depressed. If I recall, that was in part due to his own personal issues at the time but it was still very noticeable. Seeing him play Orym as bubbly and cheerful more often than not was a refreshing change.

Even in character: it's the first time in a while since they were 1) able to feel like they accomplished something good and 2) were able to have some moments of just.... relaxing and fun, and being a bunch of chaos friends having a good night out. They all needed this. Both in character, and out of character.
This was one also one of the most fun episodes in a long time too: I was laughing and smiling so hard for so much of this. It was so nice to see them all messing around and having fun: I missed these kind of episodes.

Watching the episodes back-to-back, Kiki did say that she could open a path to the shattered teeth if they needed her to. But maybe that just got glossed over/forgotten when they talked about going themselves, possibly via D. Or maybe I just misunderstood what was said in the previous session.

Probably wanted to make sure they were in safe hands before she got herself into anything, and a way of showing that she feels indebted to them after the events of the past few episodes.

I love that Imogen is on track to being one of the most powerful beings in Exandria but her most prominent character trait is how she gets zero bitches

I think most of the group is underestimating the importance of the Prime Deities in Exandria. They fought to preserve humanity against the Primordials and Betrayers that would unmake them. The Prime Deities literally went to bat for humanity and helped them win the Calamity. Sure, it was a horrible war, but it was necessary. Now the Gods need help...it's only right for Exandria to answer the call imo.

Something I have been wondering for several episodes, where is Vilia? I would think with Keyleth so injured her mother would be by her side. but then I supose she would have been able to get the flowers for Keyleth. I hope she is just out of town at the moment, and not dead. Keyleth deserves more than 10 years with her mother.

Liam is an incredible player. Grief is always a theme that I resonate with and Liam knocks it out of the park every time he gets to express it. Thank you for making me cry again Liam, sincerely.
What surprised me was Orym when he isn't actively addressing grief. Vax and Caleb spent a large amount of the campaigns outwardly depressed. If I recall, that was in part due to his own personal issues at the time but it was still very noticeable. Seeing him play Orym as bubbly and cheerful more often than not was a refreshing change.
