Also, Jun. K is the oldest but not leader - 2PM has not had a leader since 2009.
Wooyoung wrote the lyrics for Make It, and he’s even prettier irl.
2PM is legendary but underrated now, sadly. They only get better with age.
Looking forward to part 3! Live stages since 2014 would be great since live is where they truly shine! Maybe Good Man from House Party for a b-side slow song?

2PM is my favorite group. Jun. K has one of the best voices and it pains me how he doesn’t get the acknowledgement he deserves.
Love the reaction. I've been a 2PM fan since 2011, and I love how much you are enjoying them. Just wanted to share that Taec wrote the rap for ADTOY, and 2PM has no leader. They respect Jun K. as the eldest and as a talented and skilled musician, but they make decisions as a group.

Yeah chansung (the real tall one) is married with 1 baby, and taecyeon (the one that is rapper with really deep voice) I don't know if he's married yet but he's at least dating for a few years now. They're both with everyday people, not celebs I believe. I know taecyeon is with an office worker.
funny enough, i was a fan of Taecyeon for FOUR years before I actually got into 2PM, and that's cuz i was only interested in his acting... but recently I was like ya know lemme go look at his group... 2PM is my ult group to say the least and Taec is my ult bias, with Jun K being my bias wrecker ! :D

I'm commenting as I'm watching. About you said that they have some kind of a distinct sound, I remembered someone said that 2PM, especially Wooyoung, just make music however and whatever they want it, not necessary conform to modern trends in music. That's also one of the reason I still stan them until today, but it maybe also why they don't get that much spotlight if you're comparing to how popular kpop songs tend to sound like these days.
That's why their hits are so instantly recognizable to the Korean general public even to this day. Their choreo is so iconic and gets referenced by non idol celebrities on variety programs. It's uniquely them.
These days it's not about spotlight for them. They've already been there, done that, became millionaires and have the professional license and freedom to pursue the music that they want. It's a place where most idol groups hope to be in by the time they reach the end of their initial contract.
YASSS!!! My first babies!! LOL My journey to kpop is similiar to your friends. I was folding laundry one day in front of the tv just scrolling the channels when I came across a scene from Dream High (which starred Taecyeon (my baby 💜) and Wooyoung). I was intrigued and watched. But what got me into the music was the song Electricity from 2pm that was featured in the drama. Since then my curiosity got the better of me and thus my descent into the wonderful world of kdramas and kpop began. I have never regretted that day I folded laundry! 😂 Oh and YESSS MORE 2PM PLS! 🙏
