  • Several children have been rushed to hospital after a double decker bus ploughed into a railway bridge, tearing off its roof.
Three of the children suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. A further 13 were treated at the scene of the crash, which happened at around 8am on Well House Lane, Winchester.
All pupils on board were aged 11 - 16 and from the Henry Beaufort School, in Harestock, Winchester.
The children had shouted at the driver to tell him he was not taking the right route.
They described how they had screamed in fear as the bus crashed into the bridge, sending shards of glass flying.
