Morning Mags, I'm planning on planting out my onions and garlic this week, but it's quite wet again. ☔️ Why is it always nice when we are working? 😂 You had a fabulous Gigantes harvest... unfortunately, all of mine had cross pollinated. 🤦♀️ Those dwarf beans in the trug looked so lush for this time of year. They must really like that sheltered spot! I hope you enjoyed them with your carrorts and cottage pie... nice comforting food for this time of year!!!
Thanks Annie. Yes, the beans were great. I've had another harvest off them too. Def like the spot as the others I planted further up the garden didn't manage to give me anything. Your giant runner cross looked fab though. Did you eat them? My bought in garlic and elephant garlic has arrived so they will need to go in at some point.
I’m waffling about doing garlic again as we just don’t use it enough. But never say never until I can’t 😂😂. I’m going to change things up and do a lot more dwarf varieties of tomatoes so I can grow in the poly. Otherwise no huge changes. Looking good there Mags have a wonderful day, Ali ☔️🇨🇦
I love the ease of growing garlic and do use a fair amount of it. My tomatoes were so rubbish this year I’m completely rethinking how I grow them. You have been making a good few changes in your garden already Ali. Have a great week. Mags
That crystal peak flower we call and obedient plant here....push a flower sideways and it stays obediently in that position, at least for a while. I think they are very pretty, but I've had problems with them over wintering even though they should be ok even up into lower Canada. Great harvests for this point in the season. Great that you can keep going. Those big pots were a bargain. Always great to support a charity as well.
Ooh, I must try that out - sounds fun. I'm loving the big pots, lots growing well in them. The garden still has many over-grown areas that I want to try to sort out over the winter. I hope I can keep motivated when it gets colder. Happy gardening. Mags
@@mygardenanddinosaurs We've been warmer than normal here, so my plants are going on longer...no complaints. However, I do need to clear some things. The pollinators are making me feel guilty as they are sucking what's left from the remaining blooms.
Hi Mags. Enjoyed your video. I've just got back from holiday so will be sowing my garlic tomorrow. I'm going to nip to garden centre tomorrow on off chance they have onion sets for winter planting. It's a long shot but 🤞🙂

my garlic has now been planted in modules. i'm not bothered about seeing shoot appearing. just the roots. some vwill be plantes outdoors in a bed, the rest in the polytunnel...............brian
