He refers to himself as 'a college dropout' and is so much more reflective, erudite, and effectively analytical than any professor I've ever had. Apparently, you can fall head over heels for someone just by hearing him describe the contents of his book bag. He is a rare and beautiful being.

The novel he found difficult to read (Ulysses by James Joyce) is actually considered to be one of the toughest one's to read since it's written in stream of consciousness which can sometimes be quite tricky to understand. Hozier's reading list is top tier ❤
That's it, he speaks directly to those of us similar and in that similarity we find alot of comfort, especially in today's world, knowing that we are not alone with the feelings we have. There's a good interview with Zane Lowe where they speak on feelings more, you might enjoy that.

The Oscar Wilde fairytales are lovely ❤ would definitely recommend you to read them if you are into the genre. You probably will like it if you like hozier's music, lyrics, and the themes he focuses on 😊

Is that a media training thing that the celebrities are doing or did the company doing the interviews make them do it? And either way, why? Because I know there's no way that's everyone's real reading taste. That every famous person asked is really the guy who actually reads classics.

A schoolmate had one too but also did not remember where it was from. And now i see i share the same canvas bag as hozier and i’ve become even more desperate to know its origin :,)
