I got one from WD-40 but got PTFE (which I don't know what it is) in it. Any advise?

If it is a true PTFE then you should be fine. This was mainly for the common type of WD-40 you find such as in the video lol
PTFE stands for Polytetrafluoroethylene... a synthetic fluoropolymer. In layman's terms a PTFE doesn't leave the oily residue that attracts particles and creates a grime.
You should be okay with what you have there, just avoid this type in the video. - Kilo

I was buying a lock lube in a local lock shop (official distributor of FAB, the manufacturer of locks). He recommended WD-40. I shared my experience with it and gently suggested I want a designated lube for locks (FAB even makes one, as well as EVVA or Mul-T-Lock). It looked like we already agreed that I want to buy the FAB spray, but he handed me the WD-40 over again... It was funny as if we were stuck in a loop

Safari Charlie's Lube Plus Gun Lubricant & Protectant, Houdini Lock Lube or Super Slick Stuff are all made by the same company (Protexall Products Inc.) and it is all the exact same stuff.

The one ingredient not listed on the “not in this” list is wax, so I am guessing wax is a key ingredient to Houdini lol

What is houdini chemical? Smells like orange.

Lol…. WD40 is an adhesive remover.

haha WD-40 truly has a 1001 uses! Being more of a solvent than true lubricant, some of it's properties make it come across as a true fix-all lubricant to many lol - Kilo
