Dear Richard, thank you for this beautiful waltz tanda. I’m in awe of your apparent research and in depth knowledge of tango music! With kind regards, Joep
Hi Richard Thank you yet again for the history and translation of your choices. I have often heard these played in my favourite milongas in Buenos Aires! On a different orchestra, Pugliese…. The music Cocacabana, would you include that in a Pugliese tanda? I personally love dancing to it. Thank you, once again for reminding me of my times in BA.
Wow, Copacabana by Pugliese... That's from 1985 right? I can imagine people dancing to it in a film, but I wouldn't include it in a tanda. It doesn't have a beat the first 2 minutes... One of the rare occasions where I'd prefer De Caro's own version (1927 or 1941) for the milonga. Beautiful music though!
