As a parent that has lost a son in a tragic accident…… it brings me to my knees every time. Only Dimash can emote with his vocals how my heart cries out with the loss of my son I still feel 20 years ago….. this is so great for me as I am autistic and cannot express (verbally out loud) how I feel. It’s a horrible thing to keep trapped inside. Dimash is the only thing I have found that accurately “describes” my feelings. I know it sounds crazy, but I listen to his music just to help me let things out and let them go. 💔💕🙏🏼

I guess people misunderstand when he said "he"...he was referring to Dimash going to the cable cars before he sang the song so he could get the feeling of what happened so he could bring that emotion to the song.

The other contestants on that show demonstrated so much love for Dimash, knowing how young he was and being in a foreign country without his family. They invited him into their homes and even bought expensive medicine for him when he became ill. He sang this song while he was ill after they took him to the hospital for treatment, The doctor told him no high notes, but later Dimash said when he began to sing he was okay and the pain did not return until right after the performance.

The saddest thing according to other "DEARS" commentary is that it didn't have to happen. The car held a max 15?-20? occupancy but 33 were crammed in. Because of weather? Last trip up? Common practice? Greed??? Don't know. But safety and welfare of riders were obviously at the "bottom" of the list. 🦋
