i like the tend of these bronzers going red instead of yellow/orange like they've been for SO long. i like how it mimics getting a bit of a burn! which is real! like nobody burns yellow

You are a delight, and so is this review. Your comparison between the Gucci and the CT makes this the best review so far that I’ve seen, because I definitely see the differences you point out. The glow of the Gucci is beautiful-beautiful-and so that makes it my favorite side. I admit, I already have two of the Gucci shades and am in love with both (thinking of the third shade also) due to their color and finish and texture. But I’ve been eyeing the CT also, going back and forth, back and forth, about acquiring it. Now I know from your comparison that I’m happiest with my Gucci. I hope you continue to fall ever more in love with it.
This was a great comparison of several bronzers. I found both sides absolutely lovely on you! I have had fun with using bronzers, although its been an experiment finding the right shade. I am very pale, and even though I have tried darker shades (and love reddish ones) they don't always look good. They then become eye shadow ;) The Gucci one is intriguing, with being glowy. Thank you for such an in-depth review of these bronzers. My first choice is the Charlotte Tilbury, simply because it’s buildable in a more manageable way. The Gucci looks beautiful but it looks like too much jumps on quickly. Your video was helpful to me in helping me decide about my Gucci purchase. Blessings! 🌻
Difficult to pick - they both look amazing on your stunning skin in different ways. Normally I would steer clear of anything with red tones but the bronzer has looked really good on so many. It does seem a little harder to work with to get the application right. I think we all love the gucci compact :-)

Chelsea, your comparisons are very helpful. I have the Becca bronzer and it along with Fenty Caramel Cutie are my favorites. I haven't purchased CT yet but probably would during a sale. I think I like it better than the Gucci bronzer, however, that Tiffany blue compact is gorgeous and I have a weakness for packaging (LOL!). Hey Chelsea, what also makes the Gucci side look more luminous is that that side gets more light from your window I believe. I'd be curious as to what it would look like on the other side of your face. Maybe you can do it with a GRWM video? I bought the CT bronzer in tan but I found it too red for me so I returned it. I may purchase the CT in medium or the Gucci in 2 or 3. I'm going to buy the Chantecaille bronzer in Goa though. But I would like another bronzer as well. Thanks for the video! J. 🙂
The window might have added a little more luminosity to that side, so that is a good observation. I think you’d like the CT bronzer in medium because it’s a solid neutral shade and it looks beautiful on the skin. I also want to get the Chantecaille bronzer as well. 😊

Wanted to see the new ND bronze palette IRL, she is more beautiful in person, and the only CT bronzer that was not on display was the medium...I just left as it was extremely difficult to look but not touch. The Tiffany blue shade you refer to is called "cerulean blue". There is a scene in THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA about it. This video was very helpful, as I have neither bronzer and was considering purchasing both. I am not crazy about red bronzers (like the Kosas one), so I will buy the Charlotte Tilbury. Btw you might like Lawless bronzer because it is a nice neutral, matte one.
@Skating Canuck FYI Tiffany blue is the name most people use to describe that particular color. For example weddings baby showers, painting of room in a home. People say Give me that "Tiffany blue" People can identify immediately one you say Tiffany blue we all know that color. 🤷🏼♀️
Why do all the shades look like blush shades to me ? It’s perplexing. Either really coral/orange/red undertone but maybe that’s just not my preference in bronzing shades. Thanks for the comparisons!

Hey Simone!! Glad this video is right on time! I do have the CT finishing powder in the shade medium and I use it primarily for my under eye area. I can use it for all over my face, but I like it better for my under eye and T-zone. I don’t have shade 3 because it looked too deep, even for the perimeter of my face, but if you are warmer and deeper than me, then I think it could work for you!

Whenever you show a product for the first time you want to have a clean canvas so we can see the true colors. I've been wanting this bronzer, been going onto the Saks site for a couple of weeks, they finally listed a color other than dark, so I ordered the light, could you tell me what the other colors are. mine is on preorder and will not ship till early August, wow what's up with this bronzer, is it that popular or are they just holding out to drive up the hype? what do you think pretty lady?

I'm an nc44/45 and I use the medium as an under eye powder. I find it to be too light as an all over face powder.
Hey Simone!! Glad this video is right on time! I do have the CT finishing powder in the shade medium and I use it primarily for my under eye area. I can use it for all over my face, but I like it better for my under eye and T-zone. I don’t have shade 3 because it looked too deep, even for the perimeter of my face, but if you are warmer and deeper than me, then I think it could work for you!

The only thing is I wish you didn't put anything else on your skin first like the lumimizer. Whenever you show a product for the first time you want to have a clean canvas so we can see the true colors. I felt like they both kind of had a glow and I couldn't see the true color of the bronzer. I think I will buy the Gucci bronzer just for the packaging but it looks great on you. I have been watching your videos and I'm definitely enjoying your channel 💕🙂
