- Addis Ababa ETHIOPIA Has Taught Me So Much!! In this video I show the Keba Guest House located in Addis Ababa Ethiopia Africa which I stay at for a few days. This place really did change my life when I lived here years back. This establishment is in the Shola Market area of Addis Ababa. Ethiopia has taught me so much and the Ethiopian people continue to teach me.For the price, the place is definitely worth it. I walk around the Shola Market area and stop by a really nice coffee shop called Nemas Coffee. I also stop for a shoe cleaning and run into some nice kids who want to be a part of the video. Who am I?
A man from the USA trying to discover the world one place at a time, while sharing the experiences through my lens. I like traveling to places that are usually not first on most people’s itinerary and showing everyone that these places are worth the journey. I want to experience all the countries I visit as a member of the society but at the same time learn about the culture, food and beautiful people. Growth is not achievable without leaving your comfort zone, so just do it!
#addisababa #ethiopia
I miss Ethiopia a lot. Thank you for continuously showing your journey in Ethiopia. I was there for three months with my fiancé from October-December 2022. It was an amazing experience for me, living with the locals in the Summit area. The food, the vibe, the people - something is really magical in this nation. I pray that I will come back again soon in this konjo land.
Regards from Cebu 🇵🇭
I pray also for you to come back soon to my country Ethiopia, and thank you for visiting your fiance country.
@@liasol8518 thank you so much 🙏
Your humility shines throughout this video. it is so refreshing to see someone trying to understand the culture without looking down on it. Great Vlogs! 🤍
Wow, thank you!
@ Eden Tadesse, why would he look down at the culture? These people have amazing culture and beautiful traditions. Most westerners have misconceptions about Africa as a whole. The people and the landscapes are matchless.
@@annaetienne7191 I am sorry if my name didn't give it away but I am Ethiopian myself 😂 I have watched so many vlogs where they looked down on my people. He didn't do that, so I am giving him credit. I am a bit confused which part of that is wrong🤷♀
You stay hittin those “selam new’s?” like a local lol.. I love it 😆
You know it!
9:39 👏👏👏👏
I have been following your channel , love Ethiopia and Ethiopian people they're very nice and friendly, love from Egypt.
Thank you so much for showing us these options. You’re also partly promoting tourism in Ethiopia. As an Ethiopian, I’m grateful to you for showing my country in a positive light. I am learning a lot from you. My husband and I with our two kids would like to travel to Ethiopia. They have never been there before. Hopefully we can link up with you when we’re ready to go there.
Thank you so much for your support! I hope you guys get a chance to visit soon. And yes If I am there when you guys are maybe we can link up. Blessings!
Love your videos! Those street kids are so adorable. Your interactions with locals is genuine and so beautiful. Thanks for being simple and real!
Thank you so much!
He is very handsome man I would marry him for sure
I just got back from my month-long vacation in Ethiopia. Bro, your videos are already giving me nostalgia
Me too😂
Same 😂
Same here🤗
I love Keba Guest House! I have been traveling to Ethiopia for many years now and for the past 5 years I ONLY stay at Keba when I'm in Addis. The staff are nice, the place is clean, there's a small kitchen that you can order your food from, there's Wi-Fi, there's a guarded gate, they have taxi services and will pick you up and drop you off at the airport for FREE. The location is in Addis near many churches and downtown area, they have laundry services and much more!
''There is no Growth without getting out of your confort zone'' thats dope! I like it. Keep on brother!
Yes you know it!! Thank you sir!
So calm and respectful. Keep up the good work.
Hi i was at addis ababa last august ,there is a small change to visit again this month .I love ethiopia.
Its good to see foreigners spreading love and positive vibe about poor countries like mine. Thank you brother
Ethiopia is not a poor country; it has the potential and resources to grow...quite frankly it's growing.
Wow shola is my favourite. I used walk from maganaya 24

I’m glad my basic Amharic could help!
you are not a visiter anymore you are local man. keep doing the great job...
Thank you brother!
I am 100% sure I stayed at that same house from the begining of the video back in 2014. That's insane.
Except then we rented the whole house. It was so cold. The bedroom you stayed in is where my parents stayed at. That's crazy. Lol
"A bully is helping me bring the bag in" 😂 Habesh people are so kind and loving ❤️ Thank you for the tour brother.
Love all your videos!!!
Thanks for showing our beautiful Addis Ababa!!!
🙏🏾❤️🇪🇹🙏🏾❤️🇪🇹❤️🇪🇹
Thank you so much bro nice visiting.
Yo voy la Semana que viene addis Ababa I am glad to see this man.
The wold need more of this kind of humble TH-camers. He's humble and his content is satisfying.
Thanky ou for your support!
I loved when you speak Amharic!
Thank you I really try!
Bro I love you vlog. I am learning something new about Ethiopia & I hope one day to visit Ethiopia. Much love Eritrean bro! PEACE!
I hope you visit the country soon!!
Don't come we got enough of you!
@@Lemlem7682 on another TH-cam comment you were calling for the break up of Ethiopia to serve the interest of your TPLF terrorist so they can stablish Abay Tigray at the expense of all your neighbours. But now when the Ethiopian National Defence Forces are winning the war against your TPLF terrorist group you switched your loyalty to Ethiopian Gov? Seriously you need to educate yourself!! Beside it is not up to TPLF supporter to tell me which countries to visit and which countries not to visit! After all Tigrayans / TPLF no longer monopolize Ethiopia like you use to during the days of evil Meles Zenawi. Wake up and smell the coffee! Guhaff.
@@Lemlem7682 He can come, he is very welcome to Ethiopia.
@@liasol8518 it’s your country and your very welcome my friend
I really really liked your video and Subscribed. In fact I was replaying it to see it again. It is a pure honest video. you make me think like , why is the street looks like so empty? If he walks alone, will someone give him a hard time? why don't they sell pastries in the coffee shop you get into? why don't the government fix the roads? and it seems like even the Shepherd understand and try to speak English, and so much more.
Keep up the good work brother, and stay safe and have a wonderful time staying in Ethiopia. 👏👏👏
myer good to be back in ethiopia
I just found your channel and enjoyed watching your video .thank you for sharing I remember those places 🥰
My pleasure! Thank you for the support
A nice cozy guest house with a great view and serene vibe, ... and a beautiful vlog.. and the GOATS 🤩😂😂 ... have a wonderful and peaceful time, and thanks brother for sharing us a great tip ... melkam ken ... Good Day! 🔆😇🙏
Thank you!!
That seems sheep not a goat 😂😂. Thanks Myer showing us this. You may go Enrico cake at piasa-nice cake
Yes, you are absolutely ,we don’t have a culture for street food, back in the days it was even wrong to eat in hotel, there is even a say that goes like this you walk around and eat like a cow basically like a nomadic person
I enjoy watching your videos. please make more of this
That was a really decent guest house. You don’t stay all day and night in the hotel anyway. So, that is a smart way to stay in a hotel with affordable budget.
The moment you walk out after a few minutes when u passed by a young Ethiopia girl, " I heard her saying oh my God he is handsome!!" I understand that cuz am Ethiopian ha ha !!
I don’t think she was referring to Myer when she says በበማሪያምሲያምር on the phone
Nice one. Keep it up!
Waw I didn't even know you went to the breakfast place it nice and simple that is why I like you you are so good in interacting with people

I like your videos and eager to see your channel has grown.
You should meet famous Ethiopian TH-camrs.
15 dollars might get you outside the hotel or at the door here in the state. 😊. The guest house not bad at all.
I was more worried about someone snatching your phone but if you lived in Addis before you probably know sup.
I don't know much about Shola area but always cautious anywhere in Addis.
Jabaadhu ‼️💚 keep going your doing great content
Much love and respect from Ethiopian ❤ 🙏 I'm in love with you ❤
Don’t know you but I love you too lol
Used it in Ethiopia 1 month. Wow.🤔🇪🇹💪🏼
Great content men, but 15 bucks is i think over 750 birr, and for that room that's a bit much
