Wow just wow Love it and I'm a Cubs fan but even I have to admit MLB wouldn't be the same without the Reds the History,the fans and our rivalry all that's what makes this sport great and Reds know how to represent it.
Three observations: 1. I'm wondering how those unis are going to feel on a 95-degree day. (For those of you who don't know, black absorbs light and turns it into heat.) 2. Funny how the most noticeable thing on the top is the Nike logo. Gee, do you think that was planned? 3. Now I know what someone means when they say "It's all about the merch."
For your first point they will be wearing the uniform for home Friday games which according to the schedule are all evening games so they won’t have to be in the heat for terribly long. I’ve been to many evening games myself and once the sun gets low in the sky the black won’t be too much of a burden.
I'm so glad the MLB has been scripting games for a no name team to guarantee them wins to get more than 300 people to show up to a game and this new uniform should bring more.
