I think what strikes me the most is how CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL THAT YOUR COUNTRY IS! Truly, Bro, never in your vids do I see anything but beauty, thanks for sharing your culture! We have lost so much of our own culture since I was a young person in the 60's, 70's, 80's..how it has changed in America! So this is a breath of fresh air 👍😄🙏🙏✌️

Yes, all the communities and cities are very well organised when it comes to cleaning, trimming trees etc. it also helps that most of the Swiss are not throwing away stuff on the streets but take it to the next trashcan, which again is emptied often 😊 also, i am filming the beautiful sides. There are, as in every country, places that are not so nice. Also it is tough to keep culture! But then again usually when it goes, it comes again at some point 😊😊

Thanks for the journey to my childhood, I was born in Bern 1966, and grew up in Büren. My great grandmother and grandmother both lived in Büren. To old locals they’d remember my grandmother, she lived in the last house on the right heading East out of town. Her house had the little building in the backyard that had the hand crank to drop the railroad crossing gates. If a train was heading her way she would have to walk out to the building and crank the gates down and then back up, occasionally she’d let one of us grandkids stop traffic as the train went by. At 5:40 in your video the large building on the left in tan paint with a tile roof, with the clock tower is the school I went to. We lived right next to the bridge in the foreground, I was going to say “downstream” but I believe it’s actually “upstream” from the covered bridge.
I now live in Washington State and have never been back to Switzerland, but we hope to soon. I was so happy that my daughter went to Switzerland to stay with family she had just met six months early. I was in tears at the video my daughter made for my 50th birthday, of her walking on the same cobblestone streets in town that I once walked on, then walking the river trail that I walked to school everyday, ending with a walk across the wooden bridge.
Just today I received a text from an old coworker who is currently traveling Switzerland with his wife, he text that he couldn’t believe that I never wanted to move back, because it is so clean and beautiful. Moving back will probably never happen not because I wouldn’t want to, but I couldn’t move that far from my kids, they’re all I have
