Dr. Jones reminds me a bit of my father; he and I always had a similar relationship to Indy and his dad: my dad, a brilliant man, can be a little cold and highly bookish but he means well, and six years back when my mother left (only on vacation, mind), taking my sister, it was just me and my dad. Things got a little quiet, but in the end, our love of knowledge always brought us closer. It's more or less the same to-day.
There are no words for how hilarious I find it that T.E. is depicted riding a bicycle through the desert. "Crap, what does Lawrence do? Deserts, bikes and books, right? Right." What really gets me is that it's not even inaccurate. What a guy.
when younger i used to think that Young Indy was a bit weird being taught in general, but now that i'm 6 years older i think to myself it makes sense that he's specific he's passionate about something, and thats what matters to him, i say why force someone to do something they won't enjoy
could anyone please tell me what song it is that plays when the pyramids show up and where i can find it? i have been trying to find it for over 6 years I would pay the man his weight in gold who would find it for me.
Thanks for posting. I only had a chance to watch a couple of these years ago when the tv show was on tv. As always the tv channels made a mess with advertising spoiling the mood and with the schedules. It's sad: the directing and editing is so awkward. And the actors are not ...acting. They just stand there. The boy is a good actor though.
this isn't a fitting subject for the dinner table. besides that, those were different times back then. he is a naive young lad and doesn't realize the effect this would have on the stomachs of his fellow passengers. do you remember the scene in titanic when jack teaches rose how to spit? xD
Thank you so much for uploding :). I loved it growing up.

If I remember correctly George Hall's voiceover was replaced with Corey Carier's voiceover on the History Channel versions.
" The goddess of knowledge" that is wonderful... he had a teacher who actually knew something!
Funny Patd said that, it just came out on dvd.

Yeah. You'll notice that he wasn't scared of the snake. He's yet to develop that phobia.
Why won't this be out on DVD?
Actually when first touring the Middle East, before WWII TE Lawrence did actually do most of his travel by bike.

Because she was Private, not some Government Funded Public School nonense. Me, I like books.
Although the United States doesn't have the best public school system, it has its moments. For the most part, it gets the job done.
Shame on them for removing Old Indy !!
the kid cant act, but thanks for the upload!
