I am aware that most filipino dishes go with rice 😁 thanks for your concern. It is only a personal preference to eat most dishes with little to no rice. I like the saltiness and the rich flavour of the dishes and enjoy them a lot, believe me 😁
That's completely fine. Everyone has their own unique preferences when it comes to food. It's great that you enjoy the flavors of Filipino dishes with little or without rice. 🥰 What matters most is all about enjoying what you eat. It's great that you appreciate the saltiness and richness of Filipino dishes, so keep savoring those delicious flavors in your own way. 😍😀🙂
@Simsimsamtravels follow your taste buds sir, Don't mind the other commentators who demanded what u do or not,,but some recommendations is up to you,, maybe some Pinoy try to let you know that way😊
So funny, you can't get over tasting the pork-blood soup, one spoon after another because it was so good. Thanks also for showing us the beautiful scenery on your motorbike ride, including the view from the terrace ruined-house.
Rice always goes with ALL meals in the Philippines --- you cannot just indulge in the mains --- enjoy your meals with rice --- have fun while you discover the islands!!!
Haha, I know that Filipinos love their rice. I enjoy to indulge the mains just like that 😄 it's salty and flavourful, just the way I like it. I usually go with a little to no rice 😁

Hi Sam I think you passed by my brothers house in Simala and Sibonga. I'm in NYC and really miss Cebu much...and will visit again soon. Love to see you're enjoying Filipino food, Cebu City and the Countryside..have a gr8 time be well and stay safe...😊👍
I cant say its the best lechon but probably one of the best in the Cebu , cuz there's so many best lechoneros not only in Cebu but all over the country. Keep exploring, Tc nd Gb
It must be the best. People and corporate events from all over the Philippines, especially from Manila order Cebu lechon via freight. There are virtually dozens of lechoneros in Cebu who supply lechons on a daily basis to hotels not only here in Cebu but all over the Philippines. Most of these lechoneros don't have physical stores but only large lechon pits and they roast non-stop every single day. One known lechonero (in Labangon, Cebu City), for instance, claimed that they roast 200 pigs everyday to hotel customers both in Cebu and Manila.
You made a good choice of food, hope you love it. Carcar is very well known for its lechon and chicharon. Thanks for embracing our food, our beautiful places and culture. Stay safe on your travel. New subscriber here from Cebu City. 😘
11:47 No, you can't eat the bones. They can get stuck in the throat, and that can sometimes lead to a trip to the E.R. I can't hear what the man said, but it's probably along the lines of the eel being good to eat with a banana. Eating a banana is a popular first aid / home remedy for a stuck fish bone. The fruit's slimyness usually helps dislodge the bone.
@E_l_l_i_e...Ha ha. You didn't get the inuendo most Filipino men say when they need some 'vigor' down there (between your legs). Yes, eels are considered aphrodisiac for older men with erectile problem. The local guy simply said it subtly to be politely correct and not getting too vulgar.
That's why I asked, with some fish you certainly can eat the bones. Banana is the code word for, you know what I mean 😅 he was implementing that the eel is good for making it powerful. He never used the word banana 😄
Yummy pork blood soap (dinoguan). 😅 Your a brave man and Carcar is the right place to be fir Lechon . Go to the indoor main market. They have over 20 Lechon vendors to choose from. Moalboal rocks, drop by kawasan falls in Badian our town. GL.
You should go waterfalls hopping in Southern Cebu as it has over 40 waterfalls systems which will take your breathe away for their clear turquoise blue water set amidst lush tropical setting. Paved roads crisscross the mountains of Cebu so you won't get lost because these roads connect to either east or west coast.
Pork blood it’s good with steam white rice 👌 🍛 actually everything it’s better with white rice 😅👌 lechon it’s yummy with sarsa criolla it’s a Peruvian or Ecuadorian red onion salad 🥗 spectacular it’s just with cilantro lime salt and finely sliced red onion but I don’t know 🤷♀️ why both countries made it amazing 👌👌😍and with lechon omg
Wow! You had pork blood soup? I’m so proud of you. That’s one of my favorite Filipino food. I haven’t had it in a long time. But one thing you have to know is, you have to eat everything with rice. We don’t eat anything without rice. lol
