- Day 2 Living From the ocean on the new island. Had some luck early with a nice fish but the best fish was yet to come. A simple but amazing catch and not cook in this one that's hard to top. Hope you enjoy it!

Yeah, back in the day you had to get a chopper, nowadays anybody with a drone and the basics of cinematography can capture shots worthy of a proper documentary, it's really amazing.
Been watching these for a few months despite not being into fishing or camping but absolutely love them. For the first I caught, prepared and ate my first brim catch last night. Wouldn't have done it without these amazing videos, so thanks for the inspiration.

Rokkit i have a recommendation for you. Bring generic Claritin (loratadine antihistamine) to take preemptively of mosquito bites. I get bit a ton more than most people but if I take the loratadine there is little to no reaction at all, as if I took zero bites.
Don't know why I don't see this bit of knowledge anywhere but skeeter bite reactions are allergenic reactions for the most part. So the antihistamine helps a boatload.
I love that our planet has places like this.

You should make a little scale scraper tool out of a few bottle caps and a piece of wood as a handle. They work great, and then you don't have to skin the fillet.

U need a good water for drinking,
My tips: dig a hole (maybe size of a medium bucket) near the shore and put some pebbles inside the dugged hole so that when water forms it will be automatically filtered, that's how you we usually do in our village. Thanks and hope it will help.
Thermacell is always in my boat during the summer and spring here in Minnesota. It is a must and they work amazing.

I know this is an older video but I found your channel and I'm addicted to watching you go out on these trips. I'd love to do a trip like that but sadly I'm nowhere near any oceans, especially tropical ones, to do that kind of trip.
As a suggestion for something to bring maybe some precooked rice and you could make seafood fried rice or if you make the rice sushi style have fresh sushi on the beach!
