I was lucky that I get a tractor. To get filters is a sisyphus work too.

done a lot of research on the OEM brands when it comes to filters and oil I know CNH oil is now Made By Shell Rotella and Filters come from Fleetguard and Donaldson, Agco filters come from Baldwin then oils come from Warren oil which also supplies the Walmart Supertech , Amazon Basics . Then Kubota oils are made by Valvoline And filters are Fleetguard. And Deere Oils made by Chevron and Filters Donaldson. I can go the the filter makers and buy the same filter from them for 150% less than the OEM label version. And my tractors range from 20 horse to 500

Some manufacturers are wise enough to price items such as filters more competitively because they know that they can be easily compared and are readily available from other sources. Parts that are not as easily purchased elsewhere make up for any shortfall in profit. John Deere definitely knows how to price parts. They are green because the cash in your wallet is green. That cash will disappear from your wallet when you step up to the parts counter.
