6 months ago I was aware of Sloan from a couple of stray songs on cfny NOW, I can't do my own band work too busy stuffing my soul with Sloan Steady and everything they ever did! I am more than crazy about these guys. I hope they noticed I much I loved them when they came to Buffalo and wow were they even better at this record with the months playing it out! I can't wait until they come around again...probably going to Ontario as soon as I can to get some more and I am in the process of sharing them to friends
Sloan opened for Oasis way back in the day. I was so pumped to see them....I loved their records! They hit the stage and just sucked! They were terrible. I saw them a few weeks ago at an outdoor festival and they were MARVELOUS! Fellow Canadians, please promote our artists!!
Great show. Best song on the album is "She Put Up What She Put Down" but this and 12 are full of great songs. A band whose more recent stuff may trump their earlier stuff. Some of it anyway. Just great songwriters.
Though I love this band, I have a theory that back when Patrick first got tattooed and Andrew dispensed with the ANDY SABOLA drumhead, the magic that made Sloan legendary went “POOPH”, never to return…
No idea what you're talking about. This performance and songs rock. Few bands out there could put out such tight, snappy set of songs, after 30 years. IF they still made songs that sounded like 1994, that would be bad, not better. The Beatles didn't stay stuck in 1964, they evolved. And so does Sloan. The "Sleep" song is awesome.

So glad their still making music.. my brother introduced these guys to me in 97...omg where did the years go?

I dream of sleep. so good, just beautiful
Thanks! I was hoping hoping hoping a video of this show would emerge!
Back ups are terrific

Sloan Party 2022!
Oh man, that tease of a Between the Bridges box set...
Its funny all the great Canadian bands like Rush Hip Sloan Blue Rodeo ..they sound like nothing else . Canada rocks eh
Very true Neil young too
back up vocals are great.
They are a harmanizing band
@@neverbettercanada I find their harmonies particularly exciting on this album.
"We had that one for Smeared" 😄
Best new song nice work if you can get it and I dream of sleep both by Chris Murphy
Wish 'Magical Thinking' was included :(
Love Andrew’s stuff the best
He wrote less than Murphy but his tunes are most recognizable
Tina is supreme
Most uncool cool band in the world
Though I love this band, I have a theory that back when Patrick first got tattooed and Andrew dispensed with the ANDY SABOLA drumhead, the magic that made Sloan legendary went “POOPH”, never to return…

@SS Though Sloan has come and gone, ANDY SABOLA is forever…
