Honestly because he said that, it doesn't mean anything, he's still coming out with Fire, Starfire, and different Batgirls
So I would take that it's not happening all at once, but it's eventually most likely going to happen
Yes most of the characters he comes out with are male, but I honestly think he will eventually come out with some if not most of the most popular female characters.

Imagine Spawn cape fully wired. Like a gigantic cape with like 4/5 wires so you can move the cape like the comic books. Please do more wire capes!

Action figure companies should make more backdrop like this. It would makes a cool background for posing purposes (display, photography, etc). Instead of the usual rip off and throwaway routine (such a waste), we should be able to use the backdrop from the packaging for other purposes
Todd should make all the characters who capes have wires in them. I mean I like the plastic capes. But some characters could be beneficial if they have wired capes so that the plastic won’t get in the way of poses
That seems to be the direction they are heading. I don’t want them to completely abandon plastic capes for figures that capes may not translate well in the material mcfarlane uses
Are we going to make carrots to wire capes and he needs to make sure that they're placed on the body correctly.

Watching the Spawn Show from HBO in the late 90’s.. Todd has his intro at the beginning of each episode!! He’s a completely different person from then to now.. Not sure that’s such a good thing.. 😬
This got announced right when i was about to do a custom to my knightfall batman. Honestly im kinda glad cause now i dont need to mangle my figure for the cape i was going to add hah. Definitely going to be one of my favorites once i get my hands on it
I absolutely need this in my life. I remember collecting the entire Kightfall series as it engulfed my entire Summer during my college years. Was so worth it and this would be the icing on the cake!!

This sounds funny, but the part I'm most excited about it them finally packaging the feet stands on the plastic tray instead of on the cardboard back-drop behind the figure.

Will definitely try and go for it. I didn't even see ONE Bane Canada-side. Not saying there weren't any, but in Toysrus, different comic stores, Walmart, Gamestop and even toy shows in my jurisdiction, not a single Bane was seen. If got gobbled up, it is the fastest selling release I ever saw. Only one vendor sold it online and he was a fraud who didn't fulfill the orders and ran off with people's money, it was reported. Wonder if this one will have the same 'rarity' issue as the Bane figure.

Why can't you just have EVERY Batman you do with a wire cape that would be justification for its price. Figures are amazing but those stiff capes suck when it comes to posing

Head sculpt is hideous for being the only head in there. Also why not do the colors of origin comic. How do they still not have pinless joints? I love they did soft goods cape, but man this could of been awesome if they didn’t put stupid “shading” on bane n make Batman look like joker with no face paint

The 2 pack looks alright, but there are definitely some issues I see here that should be addressed. For starters, I find it weird that Bane is the only one with the cell-shading when in the comic artwork we can blatantly see that Batman also has that cell-shading, so why didn't the Batman figure get any cell-shading so that you can more accurately recreate the infamous broken back panel scene? Another thing is that while the head looks ok, the two-pack shoudl've also included an alternative head that shows Batman in pain like in the comic panel. It looks weird if you pose them together doing the breaking back shot only to show Batman look mad instead of being in pain. The body proportion, specifically the legs and chest area, also do not look close to resembling the way he is depicted in this infamous shot. He defintiely has more defining muscle and body tones shown in this shot, so in a sense McFarlane decided to just cheap out and reuse another Batman mold that in the end just looks out of place. This is especially true for the begs and abs that look a lot more defining and the chest being just a bit wider in the comic. Also the blue-color for Batman does not work well for this two-pack, especially if you are attempting to accurately recreate the shot that's behind the box and on the card since in it he has a darker blue color rather than the light-baby blue-ish color you have here. I understand that it's supposed to be a depiction of the og comic panel where his suit is that blue color, but if you're aim was to recreate THAT specific shot, why not include THAT shot on the back of the box and the card rather than what is being shown in the video? Makes no sense as to why McFarlane decided to use a different version of the back breaking panel to represent a shot from a different and og panel. The Bane figure looks alright, nothing really much to complain about on that figure which in it of itself actually looks good. The real issue stems strongly and soley on the Batman figure, specifically on it's wrong blue color, lack of cell-shading on the suits (blue parts to be more precise including the cape), and that face that was chosen to be the only face/head sculpt for that Batman figure. Why not include an extra alternative head depicting him in pain to more accurately depict the shot? McFarlane definitely missed their shot on bringing forth an accurate depiction of an iconic Batman moment in figure mode. Does it mean I won't buy the figure? Honestly it's conflicting, especially since one of the great things from this 2 pack, other than the Bane figure itself, is that the Batman figure actually comes with a wired cape, meaning you can somewaht accurately receate the way the cape is shown on the og comic panel. However in the end I'm really just paying for another retool of a figure that doesn't fit the depiction it is trying to imitate, one great figure with actual good prints, and some extra accessories, specifically 2 extra sets of blue hands, one set of big hands, and a batarang. Overall it's a conflicting 2-pack that partly does what it's intending to do but at the same time fails halfway through in being accurate. Any thoughts?

It would be really awesome if you could recreate the album cover art with a statue or something of the iconic Follow the Leader Todd McFarlane art! Just an idea! They technically don’t have butterfly joints. They use that piece to cover up the gaps in the arm articulation. However weather that districts the figures articulation varies on the figure

Cool idea. And yet this is an example of why I so often see Todd's stuff and say "Why?". In this case, the blue in Batman's costume. Todd points out the reference art. Even without the black shading in the artwork, the blue is considerably darker...so why the lighter/brighter blue? Why get all amped about one aspect of the reference art and deliberately ignore others that wouldn't cost anything extra, like the right shades/colors? It's almost like McFarlane is obligated to only pay attention to a portion of the source material and ignore the rest, because it is so common and often for reasons that don't seem to have anything to do with cost.

Todd doesn't deserve the criticism he gets all too often - not here necessarily, but I have seen him kind of sidelined as "unserious." The man is a toy-maker, and a sound one. Now, I am a Mondo fellow; they can be pricey. But I would have liked his recent JLA line, with the Howard Porter look.
I havent been able to find any wired caped figure in stock for retail price. Hopefully this will be different
