the PA has so much to do in this department, firstly we have so much potential in all three areas...sports, arts and culture. more sports stadiums in south africa (working with minister of public works) and renovation of old or smaller stadiums. a better structured music industry with a proper awards system, this way it could motivated artists and upcoming artists to pursue their art and same could be said with visual and performance arts like dancing, investing in more facilities...especially in developing or underdeveloped areas, there is so much talent in coloured and black communities and ofc in white communities, we all face the same struggle but to different extents. learn from Nigeria and see how their artists contribute to the economy by bringing in audiences, more exposure to nigeria, their artists are also investing in other business endeavors and we have much more talent and versatile artists, athletes and etc.
We need a Universal Basic Income Grant for registered artists and musicians. We are a disenfranchised, marginalised group that survives on entrepreneurial skills in or to make ends meet. We need broader funding and a Basic Income grant to subsidize working artists must be put in place.
They've been doing thing but who say they've been doing things right or correct! Questionable... we all know it's been in shambles for all the years. Clean up all ...
