@@jamiehugh1212 Why does it matter? The rare time it changes and Nemo the Clown is super critical about it. Who cares if the location changed. Those that are members are happy to have a temple in the area and those who have 1 or 2 feet out will bitch and whine.
For all the times that I have to hear some pharisaical virtue signaling about staying as far from danger as possible, why is the Church’s honesty even up for debate??? The hypocrisy is bonkers.
If they do, it makes them look worse. If he is excommunicated for simply asking for honesty from the churches leaders, it makes them look bad for essentially silencing a public voice for asking questions. If they let him continue as a member, they can fall back on how they encourage open dialogue (even though they don't)
The church has backed off on excommunications in recent years because they want to keep their membership numbers as high as humanly possible, and they know that a lot of exmos now video/audio record their "court of love" hearings which only ends up embarrassing the church because those courts are such pointless nonsense. Nowadays they mostly only excommunicate major legal liability scumbags like Tim Ballard and Chad Daybell. And they do it via paper letter in the mail (or just silently on a computer behind closed doors). No court proceedings needed.
The church has backed away from excommunications in recent years because they can't afford to lose more members/numbers. Plus they know that a lot of exmos video/audio record their "court of love" which just ends up embarrassing for the church. It's like saying the sky isn't blue. It is only the way photons reflect on the atmosphere it appears blue. So therefore the sky isn't actually blue. using technicalities to prove you are correct is a weak argument to persuade those that are already biased and is pretty pathetic.
What is technically true is that they never will touch excommunication with you because they realize your following, logic, and points made already, have them in a billion dollar well-funded and invincible stock profile type leadership situation on one side, that knows it is in an inescapable check-mate. But even still, and with that know you have ears that their Ensiegn Peak Investments would say, “No,” to stepping toward. They will never touch you. Just my opinion. #Prophets and Seers. This is just one country within the Game of Thrones. They always to me are the “Iron Bank of Braavos.” Once everyone’s grandmothers, and that old “prophet” kicks the bucket, the church is going to align itself much differently. They all know that supporting “max tithe payers,” (being the professional/doctoral/dentist/doctor class) does bring a hearty “10th,” it is not sustainable to such class when the church loses control of information. So yes, temples will not be bull-dozed because of my grandparent’s (and most like me’s) investment due to their own secretive investments in the stock market with “tithes,” but they will have empty and very hallow halls that can be empty until the “end of time.”
Book of Abraham translation is also technically correct. And so the polygamy and polyandry cases, including under age girls of 14 yo. There are so many technically correct revelations from the technically prophets, seers and revelators of the church that would make a series here.
Well it's normal for European Temples. The Frankfurt Temple is not in Frankfurt. The Bern Temple not in Bern. The Den Hague not in Den Hague, nor is the Paris Temple in Paris. And the announced Hamburg temple won't be in Hamburg. They just go for the huge reputative cities and hope to get the cheapest land anywhere near the city. On the good side the Hamburg Temple will be in the borders of the Hamburg stake since they shut down eehm merged every stake in the Hamburg stake in Northern Germany.
