Seriously. Out of all the arc reactor replicas out there, this is the best one
Man, the comment section is pretty much dead on this vid. It's almost the anniversary of the release of the vid.
im still around. I watched these vids alot as a kid :DDD
@@TheEricon We’re the last of the real ones
@@alexyadayada4487 it makes me so sad I used to watch these all the time as a kid

Well, this is all pretty freaking cool. Especially that arc reactor. Seriously, that arc reactor was one of the coolest DIY effects I have ever seen, man.
EPICNESS! This was done so well.... SO WELL.
If you remember this video you're eligible for a veteran discount
WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!!!
The reason this scene has no close up shots is because the scene has very little to do with rdj's chest or the arc reactor, the whole scene is there to develop the relationship between tony and pepper. Therefore it makes way more sense to just have the zoomed out shot where you can see both of their faces and focus on the interaction.
That is AMAZING! You could have used that in the movie and I never would have noticed. Great job!
I don't get it. The part in the original iron man movie where Pepper Pots pulls out the magnet and doesn't put it back in makes no sense. The arc reactor was there to power the magnet that was keeping the shrapnel from reaching his heart. So why'd she not replace it?
Because it was integrated in the newer reactor he built. That's why he had her get rid of the old one and said it was irrelevant.
I hate when great youtube channels end up on tv :(
Because you're against people trying to make a living from what they love doing? Wow. So hipster of you.

No freaking way!!! That's insane! Indy, you have outdone yourself. I've loved Iron Man ever since I was five years old, and this has just made my day. Bravo, Indy. You rock! I'm so glad I subscribed to your channel! =D
FINALLY YOU ARE ON TV INDY MOGUL! Extremely well done effect, Erik you are always a great clear speaking host, nice explanations and test film, congratulations! The film info on what the effects were called, as well as how they actually did it in Hollywood were some of my favorite parts, overall excellent!
Holy crap. You are an amazing effects artist man. That arc reactor looks so real.
Man this took like half an hour to buffer all the way... but it was totally worth it. Awesome video.
I was at Anime Expo last year, and there was an Iron Man cosplayer, he looked almost identical to the Hollywood version. I was so impressed!
Awesome job. Glad to see the growth and evolution of IndyMogul. Congratulations to you, Erik, and the rest of the IndyMogul team. I must say, I'm eager to hear some lessons on your lighting set ups, and beyond those ones from the short lived, yet much appreciated, Four Minute Film School.
I'm really liking this new concept EPIX.
