The rapper (moonbyul) is actually one of the most unique and most versatile rapper in kpop industry of this generation. This performance was on their early days of their careers, i’d say the group was only 2 yrs old here, they were pretty much trying to figure out the things that they could do. But through out the remaining years til now, the rapper have shown huge growth of distinguishing herself out of all the members of mamamoo. She stands out mostly on the group alongside hwasa (the 1st singer) and stands out mostly amongst kpop female rapper (female idol in general) because of her androgynous features to her as a performer which is very rare to see for a female kpop idol. She has apply that unique texture of herself to her rapping and her flow. She’s also the most accredited female artist of 3rd generation in kpop which i think is very impressive. I would say she’s very special. Also i almost forgot, she’s also a vocalist too but leans more towards rapping as it is her title in the group. Recently she’s been showcasing her singing skills a lot alongside her members. Quick side note, I really enjoyed your analysis to this performance. Hoping to see more. They are great performers, very well known to have incredible live performances as a group and as solo artists so yeah hoping to see more of them. I’d recommend u to watch their Immortal song medley. Great video, have a nice day ❤️😊
byul was supposed to debut as a vocalist but was forced to become a rapper to debut since the other members were stronger singers than her (she said this on the idot show she was on with other idols)
If you want to see her vocal abilities, watch her "Trying to Say Goodbye" cover, and if you want to see her rapping abilities, I’d recommend her "Moon Movie" performance either from the concert or the official music show, or maybe MAMAMOO’s Queendom "Good Luck" performance!
He's a famous singer in Korea, he's the one who translated the original Tom Jones into Korean and sang it making it popular during his time. He's judging them, after the clip he mentions how impressed and how different Mamamoo made it sound to the original.
I really enjoyed your analysis thank you! About Mamamoo: This performance is quite early on in their careers and they’ve grown an incredible amount since then. The main singer doing all the power belts didn’t even start training as a singer until she was in her early 20’s. They’re known for their incredible live vocals and performances in South Korea I would recommend Mamamoo doing their Immortal Songs performances of: -Wonderful Confession (more upbeat and lively if that’s what you want) -Love Story of a Girl (beautiful vocals and harmonies) -Backwoods (absolutely beautiful vocal performance)
Dennis Tuboro idk if you’re a fan but by early 20s the person that comment meant she didn’t become a trainee til she was like 21 where as most idols start as early as 11 but the oldest member (solar) who we’re talking about is 29 now
Kpop rappers don't always write their own raps. Some do, most don't. Mamamoo's rapper is one of the female idols with most songwriting credits in Korea. She's a good singer too. She's known for being charismatic, for her lower raspy voice and for playing with gender expression sometimes. She's also a great dancer. Her name is Moonbyul, it means "Moon Star". Pretty cool.
One of the others who's following the creator/performer trail Moonbyul's blazed is (G)i-dle's Soyeon. "The rapper" is usually a second-tier citizen in a kpop group (male or female), least screen time, fewest lines, etc. Soyeon is (G)i-dle's leader, writes entire sets of lyrics (not just the rap portions), creates choreography....she is the engine driving the whole group. She'd be a monster soloist, but instead, she's uplifting her five group members with her. Which is not to say they'd be totally bereft without her, but they would be much "safer", more commercial.
@@xheralt That's unrelated to the question I was answering about what distinguishes Moonbyul... But, still interesting... Now, tell me, does this Soyeon also write her own verses? I'm curious (honest question).
@@lobaetoile8440 Soyeon not only writes her own verses but writes, composes and co-produces entire song. She has written every single song in G-IDLE's discography. And she has written songs for other artists too.
Mamamoo are top-notch performers so you don't have to worry about energy. This was a slower song so their energy was kind of limited. For an enjoyable and immersive performance I recommend MAMAMOO - IMMORTAL SONGS MEDLEY. Seeing how you enjoyed this one, I'd say you won't regret the medley. Loved your reaction btw!
I love their cover of Delilah, but I gotta say it's been wrongly hyped as their best IS2 performance to date. Yhey have so many better ones😭. I think my favorite ones are their "Wonderful Confessions" and "You in my fading memory" The rapper, Moonbyul, writes herself into these songs. Out of the 13 IS2 songs of theirs, only 1 of them actually had a rap in it so she didnt have to write her part, and in 1 other, she doesn't rap, she just sings. Nowadays, she's pushing herself to sing more, which is awesome imo cause her voice is significantly deeper than the other 3. Deeper female voices aren't appreciated enough in kpop...
The girl with the short hair who started the song is Hwasa, the little one doing the higher belts is Wheein, and the girl bending her knees when belting is Solar (hopefully this made sense😅)
YESSS I’m totally with you! Wonderful Confession, and You in my Fading Memory are my favourites of their IS2 performances! I think Delilah ends up getting the hype because it’s such a well known song in the North American market.
Thank you for checking them out! As the most reactors you missed the ending. But anyway, thank you! They're the Vocal Kpop Group, more artists than idols. You need to check out the Immortal Song Medley, it's a live stage where they mixed all songs they performed there and it's so good! And yes, Hwasa's (the one at the beginning) voice is pretty full and sultry. Try her own song "LMM" It's a beautiful ballad with a message. :) And could you check out Sohyang? She's a korean gospel singer and a master of technique. Her mixed voice is insane and her head voice so angelic. Try "Arirang Alone" "Everyone" or "Lean on me" :)🙂
Thanks for explaining the techniques involved in Mamamoo making vocal magic on stage. Stage names in the order you mentioned them: Hwasa, Solar (the leader), Wheein, Moonbyul (the rapper). Immortal Songs 2 is a tv show where some of S Korea's best singers and groups compete by doing covers of classic songs by an older artist, who usually appears as a guest (unless they've passed away). This episode was a tribute to the guy with the shocked expression who was catching flies throughout the performance. He did the Korean hit version of Delilah back in the day and he simply couldn't wrap his head around a girl group doing a song that was originally about a guy who knifes his cheating girlfriend and then begs her to forgive him before the cops show up. Mamamoo turned it into a lesbian crime of passion without batting an eye and performed it "straight" with no trace of irony and he just couldn't compute the gender shift. I'm not sure why you said Delilah was country - the original had a latin pop feel and included a corny mariachi horn section. In this arrangement the guitarist tossed in a quote from Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez as Hwasa went into the countdown before the first rap verse. I was kinda surprised you went for critiquing Moonbyul's rap style as your only comment about her. She wrote new rap verses just for this performance and imo she should be complimented for creating new raps for a song that pre-dates rap and hip hop and for doing it so seamlessly and bumping up the energy dramatically. The moment she starts rapping is when you realize this isn't your parent's Delilah anymore. This performance of Delilah was little more than a year after Mamamoo debuted and their skills have only gotten better since then. I noticed a lot of people recommending the live performance of their Immortal Songs Medley, which is indeed wonderful, but it was filmed less than a year after Delilah and I don't think you'll notice much difference in their technique. I'd bump ahead to the MV for their 2018 song Paint Me, which is one of their vocal masterpieces in a recording studio, or, since Mamamoo is always best when they're live, to their performance of I Miss You on the Queendom tv show in 2019.
I like your comments -- "Mamamoo turned it into a lesbian crime of passion without batting an eye and performed it "straight" with no trace of irony and he just couldn't compute the gender shift. " and " The moment she starts rapping is when you realize this isn't your parent's Delilah anymore." This is exactly why I appreicate their remake for these good old songs.
@@linkazoo Thanks, but I sorta lied. Tom Jones' Delilah was a hit when I was a teenager tho it wasn't a song I liked. I remember cringing with my best friend when his mother would put on a Tom Jones record and swoon and get way too hot and bothered about a guy we thought was greasy and cheesy, esp for a mom. "Eww, gross! Let's go play baseball." lol Mamamoo's version is definitely not my friend's mom's Delilah. 🤣
@@kudgeond755 😂😂 Your description is so vivid that makes me laugh. Other than Immortal Songs 2, it is also fun to watch Solar sang remakes in other shows mainly featuring classical songs such as "Rewritten Charts Show, Who's No.1 Now?", "Sugar Man", etc., as her voice suits those songs very well. However, her medleys blew my prejustice away. It sounds like her voice is actually very adaptable for styles of songs. She has the ability to make the songs as her own. People keep leaving comments to ask about full covers for some of them but there is little chance to get what we want 😭😭 If I am her boss, I will do anything I can to ask or beg her to sing more. Waiting new songs from Mamamoo and her solo is far from enough.🙏🙏🙏
The rapper (moonbyul) is actually a unique rapper, she has her style, but here is a vocal perfornance and she was alittle bit shy as a rapper of a new vocal group , but now you shuld watch hip perfornance 🥺actually she can sing too😻
Honestly, I don't know why you would ever think kpop singers can't sing/belt well based off of whatever you've seen so far when there are so many talented singers out there regardless of nationality or genre...like for example, would you blindly compare Whitney Houston to Cardi B? Would you only speak of one or the other? Any generalizations are unfair and pointless, so I really wish people would stay away from those. Yes, I am a Mamamoo fan and a BTS fan and a kpop fan as a whole but above all, I am a music fan and I do believe the above-.mentioned are in no way inferior either to each other, or to other artists, take that how you will.
@@ivetapetrusheva2418 I was addressing/meme-ing the 'stigma' or negative-prejudice some have with kpop..with the added (deserved imo) hype for MMM.. apologies if my comment was poorly worded (not a native speaker) I wholeheartedly agree with ur statement.. music is art.. and art can only be fully appreciated by those who are open-minded and willing to experience and understand concepts or cultures that are otherwise foreign/new to them or even 'not their thing'/outside their comfort zone.. otherwise I'd pity those ppl for what they missed out on

@@ivetapetrusheva2418 far from it.. if anything, I'd have enjoyed to "get back at you xD" by going back and forth over a potential topic of conflict in our thoughts.. but it was painfully clear that u meant well, and that we're on the same page.. *Its really more fascinating to watch vocal teachers and coaches reacting to Mamamoo's Immortal Songs cuz you know they're definitely enjoying it and seeing their reaction being surprise and all is just so damn satisfying in so many levels and also, they explain the hardest part in it that we ppl who don't normally sing will take for granted. Mamamoo = Vocal Queens*
What makes Moonbyul a fantastic rapper is the fact that she always writes her own raps, which is very very rare, especially for female K-Pop rappers. And when you pay attention to her other rap parts in Mamamoo's songs, you'll be able to experience the versatility of her pitch and arrangement. She usually has quite low vocals which get mixed perfectly with her control of power. Sometimes she's able to rap very soft, like she even has rap parts in slow songs or ballads in which rap parts usually don't fit in. But she'll make it possible. Moonbyul also has a very powerful rap in which you can literally feel the lyrics, the passion and her emotions ( watch Mamamoo's 4x4ever live performance, her introduction rap was so on fire!) Her rap flow is unmatched and she's known for being the best female rapper in K-pop! A recent poll with over 300k views also proves that she's a very popular rapper, even though Mamamoo comes from a small company. Delilah might not be the best example for her skills since Mamamoo was very young when they performed it. Also, Moonbyul wasn't supposed to become a rapper, she wanted to become a singer! Happily, she's about to make her name as a singer as well ❤️

You should definitely react to their Immortal Songs Medley, or any Immortal Songs they did. Thank u for your reactions to the girls, hoping to see more MAMAMOO content 😊 A little background to Immortal Songs 2: this is a music competition program, participated by mainly and mostly artists sometimes they invite kpop idols but despite of the tough competition between true singers/artists, Mamamoo was able to win three trophies against all big time artist (these artists are threatened by Mamamoo's talent 😉) which made them the only kpop girl group to do so (Yeah i know, VOCAL QUEENS)😍 Members: Solar (leader/powerhouse vocals)- long hair Moonbyul(deep voice) - rapper Wheein(angelic voice)- (semi)curly hair Hwasa(raspy voice)- short hair
I have long been saying that this is the best K-pop group from a vocal standpoint. At least for girls. They’re definitely better than BLACKPINK. I’m a little surprised this is your first time reviewing them!
It's July 2021 and it seems that this is her only react video of MAMAMOO... I'm sad... Because this Delilah is MAMAMOO's debut year performance and not their best IS performance. I hope she'll react to more performances, even if it's the IS medley, which is still considered young perf because it was in 2017. I'd hope she react to Queendom performances!
Yees! The vocal queens Mamamoo. Please react to immortal songs medley by them 👌🏻. Moonbyul (the rapper) is actually one of the most unique rappers/singers, her flow, her versatility, her amazing vocals, the way she performs, her androgynous style that helped her to break a lot of stereotypes in the industry. Not to mention she is the most credited female in KOMCA (Korea Music Copyright Association). She really can do everything..
I also really liked mamamoo’s “Passion flower” and “way to Sampo” performances but those ones are also a little bit older , and their song at queendom “I miss you” is more recent and absolutely beautiful, they also have amazing solo songs like Wheein’s “goodbye” or Hwasa’s “LMM” you could also watch video’s of them harmonizing cause Mamamoo is amazing at that. I would love to see you review more Mamamoo ❤️
I really appreciate how you break down the separate techniques that they use and give examples without feeling like you are proving that you can sing. And I also like how frank you are about your opinions without "shade." I hope your channel continues to grow :)
Oh yeah I do agree that a lot of K-pop dances involve large groups, so the focus is usually on synchronization and precision over standing out with especially powerful moves.
Checkout "I Miss You" from the show Queendom to hear something more recent from them. It was done September/October of last year for another competition show.
Or "Destiny" from the same show if you want to see something more upbeat to see how they interact with the crowd as performers. They're unique in kpop as they'll dance, but for them the performance with audience seems more important. A lot of kpop groups come across robotic for how much they focus on being perfect on stage rather than just trying to entertain their crowd.
That was one of their first performances in that show, and they have definitely improve not only in vocals but also in the stage presence and right now they are just FIRE. You should definitely DEFINITELY react to their Mamamoo Inmortal Songs Medley, that's growth and I promise, you're gonna fall in love of them 😍😍😍 By the way, first singer is hwasa, second is solar, third wheein and the rapper is moonbyul, she was originally trained as a vocalist but they make her changed to a rapper, so she was just gaining confidence around this times, but she's so talented and her rap is very distinct right now especially because of her deep voice and notes that she can hit 👏
Loved you reaction and analysis! Here are some of their live performances you might want to check out: - the way to sampo - passion flower - backwoods - the dance in the rhythm - flying into the night sky - i miss you (queendom) - immortal songs medley - wonderful confession

ok thanks for reacting to them. the old guy is the original singer of the korean version of Delilah. Immortal Song is a show where they remake old song and rearrange them. few things that i dont agreed about what you commented... you were saying that they dont have enegry on the later part but yet you fail to see/hear that the energy of entirety of performance have shifted after the 3 part harmony. they were not lazy (for the clapping part), they were going soft/subtle as per the emotion for that segment of performance. yes the energy was intentionally brought down.. after your video i went back to see back this performance. i've yet to see any blank expression as per what you said. every member was in tune with the performance either emoting to the song or reacting to the audience... and yeah the girl with the crack voice .she just released her mini album. . the title track went number 1 in S.Korea..
You missed the very ending...... it looked like they had finished but they had one last 'Delilah' to sing! Mamamoo is an amazing group and that was a video from their first year after debuting. They have gotten so much better over the years and their live performances are awesome 👌 👏 🙌 You should check out their latest songs and all 4 members have done solo songs too 😊
Ahh I really love mamamoo and I love listening to vocal analyses for them even though I don’t know much about singing. I find it very interesting as mamamoo’s stages are so captivating to me. I guess it’s fun to know why It’s so good :)
The singer who has the more deep and gritty voice (the one with short hair and yellow hair pins) just came out with a new solo song called 'Maria', and i think you should react to it xx
I really recommended you reacting on Mamamoo's Immortal Song medley that yhey did on their concert. They give every vibe on that performance and a ton of energy with the audience ~

As someone who also has musical background and a vocal coach - I've been following them since their early years till Today, and yes, I am a Moomoo (Mamamoo's fandom). And I can definitely relate to her on her reactions but after listening to a TON of songs, their do standout vocally among all other groups and being an "influencer" in some way - defying the societal standards(Korean standards) and living it up and being proud with it. Thank you for doing this reaction video. You made a LOT of moomoos happy!
This was a great honest reaction. They were very young and only like 2 years into their career but u should react to their more recent performances and see the improvements i would really like to hear your thoughts. I would suggest immortal songs medley
This was their first ever show appearance, when nobody knew who they were. My guess is they were younger and more nervous about it. Its a very average performance from them. I think western people "like" it because it has some English. They perform much better in other songs like "Passion Flower" or "Wonderful confession". If you want energy, watch "Wonderful confession".
The one who looks asleep is the one who made this song famous in Korea. Immortal songs is a competition where singers perform old Korean hits. The original performers are usually there to watch. Maybe judge, (I am not sure, but why else have them there?)
This was very early into their music career so they were still pretty new to performing in competitions, especially when going against everyone else who were way more senior than them. You could check out their more recent competition performance on Queendom in 2019. They’ve grown better in owning stage presence and engaging their audiences beyond just singing. A must watch is ‘Destiny’ on Queendom (their winning performance)
This performance was when they were rookies (new group) , also Mamamoo members aren't trained for their voice. They debuted under a very small company that had nothing back then . No vocal coach nor dance coach. But they slayed every stage with the great harmonies and vocals Check -"i miss you" in queendom -Love story of a girl
OMG YES you reacted to Mamamoo!!!! queeens!!! Im so happy If you want one with more energy you should react to Mamamoo inmortal song mendley, is a video with 11 minutes so idk if you would like to react, but that one has a lot of energy
Your passion for reviewing vocal performances is really jumping from the screen and I love it! Immortal Songs is a show where different artists try to revive old/timeless songs. Delilah is usually recommended to international audiences since it's in English (or at least the 1st part of it). However, vocal-wise, I enjoyed "Wonderful Confession" & "Passion Flower" more. A lot of the fans would recommend the "Immortal Songs medley", which is a live concert performance of songs they covered on the show. The show asked them to return countless times even when they were just rookies. It's not only you, but the guests on the show were also baffled by these ladies "Are you really a kpop group?" :) Mamamoo was trained as a vocal group more than the typical kpop-sound. So they play around different genres of music. I hope you can get a chance to review more of their other songs. Your reviews are very interesting :)

In general all their immortal song performances are awesome, but if you wanna see a lot of power and them having fun on stage you couild watch Passion Flower or You In My Fading Memory. But please, even if you don't react to all of them, watch all mamamoo immortal song performances. I swear, you won't regret it!
The first singer is Hwasa. She can sing and rap. The second singer is Wheein. She and Hwasa are childhood friends. The third singer is Solar. The leader of the group. The rapper. Moonbyul or Moonstar (if you have a hard time pronouncing her name). She used to be a vocalist then turned rapper. She likes to growl on her rap, her singing voice is not as powerful as the 3, but she can sing in a very low note. Only in 2018 she is starting to sing confidently. The old man, he sang the song in Korean years ago. The show is a remake of legendary singers / composers and the new artists can create their own version of it. Immortal Songs, they were invited 14 times and won 3 trophies. In 2015, they are called the Monster Rookies, since they beat veteran singers because of their vocals. The Immortal Songs Medley was in 2016 or 2017 concert.... can't remember but, that is legendary. Mamamoo concert is 4 hours. aahahhaa imagine the vocals on that. They used to perform 4 shows in a day for School Festivals. Can't wait to see more of your review. So far yours is the best one I've watched. :D
I would recommend 'i miss you' which is my fav live performance by them cuz it shows their individual talents & their talent as a group or 'importal songs medley' but I prefer I miss you since it's the latest Fun fact: they all great soloist as well and have versatile singing styles, wheein have been picked in top 5 btw the best vocalist in South Korea
Aside from vocal queens, their also know for being energy beagles on and off stage. I think the song is meant to be a bit toned down with the energy. Watch all their other performances especially their own songs and you’ll see how they kick ass with their energy 👍🏼
they are quite new at the time. as much as ppl praise them for their vocal, the performance is still lacking. however, back then, this is top tier performance (especially on that show) since kpop idols almost never appear often on that show. Now, they are way way better. if you check out any of their recent performance, you can spot major difference. enjoy your reaction. it's nice to see someone gives constructive criticism rather than just fan-girling. im their fan and i agree with your opinion. :P
Hair adjusting and general fidgeting is something i don’t think I’ve seen another vox coach on TH-cam bring up. Very good advice, props for your experience. Usually it’s just lighting ppl and hair&makeup ppl notice that stuff.
You should give some of the other songs they did for this series. Passionflower for sure. They were really hitting their stride as vocalists on that one. The performances from Queendom, which happened last year really show them as powerful vocalists.
The one that rap is moonbyul (moonstar),the one with the short hair is hwasa she rapper vocalist, the other one at the right is wheein and the one on the left is Solar 🤗🤗
I'm really glad u are able to react/review mamamoo. Couldn't deny that they are the best vocal group in k-pop. Just to share what my take on moon byul (rapper) she's more of a lyrical rapper, since she's focusing on the message of her raps as she writes them. Fluidity and content, i guess is her distinctive style. I would recommend to listen to their i miss you queendome performance. I would love to here your thoughts how (wheein) the one with airy vocal, takes on that song. They definitely improved as time went by since the delilah perf was roughly a year after their debut. P.s. i agree with the others, u missed the last note after the audience clapped.
Nice reaction, also understandable for vocal noobs like me! 😍 I liked the comments on the airiness and what I think you called vocal fry. Very interesting. I thought the pace-changes where fun, with the slow clap they brought it down a bit which suited the belting parts very well, especially those ad lib like belts. But cool you are honest and critical in your opinion. Like blank expressions (I didn't notice or interpret that way) is not what stans (intense fans) wanna hear. But I feel over the top reactions, amazing this and that also become boring and less genuine. So keep it up. I don't like rap much, I'm used to it in two years of K-pop, but initially hated it and still don't get what's hard about it. Probably not everyone can rap equally well and spewing out syllables at 2 or 4 times the speed needs some technique. So maybe most viewers will feel you were a bit harsh on the rapper. Btw, immortal songs is like golden oldies, so all about famous old songs reworked in a modern version. I assume the man with the strange expression is the original artist (or famous with a cover in this case?).
Mamamoo have amazing vocals, they are known as a vocal kpop group. That and Dreamcatcher are my favs. I would also highly recommend Siyeon's Paradise which is just wonderful.

Mamamoo performed in Immortal Songs 13 times and was able to win 2 full shows and 1 half show. Immortal Song is a show wherein current active kpop singer (groups, bands, and solos) senior and juniors cover a legend's song with their own version and compete with each other. Mamamoo the only kpop girl group who won and the only kpop group who won 3 times. Check out their other videos and enjoy their vocals especially backwoods and love story of a girl which are ballads.

Great video, have a nice day ❤️😊
Moonbyul is also an amazing vocalist. She kinda has it all.
byul was supposed to debut as a vocalist but was forced to become a rapper to debut since the other members were stronger singers than her (she said this on the idot show she was on with other idols)
If you want to see her vocal abilities, watch her "Trying to Say Goodbye" cover, and if you want to see her rapping abilities, I’d recommend her "Moon Movie" performance either from the concert or the official music show, or maybe MAMAMOO’s Queendom "Good Luck" performance!
i think the main difference is that she raps with tones, there are inclinations unlike most rappers that are kinda monotonous
Mamamoo was probably 7-1 year old u can tell by their hair
You should react to their immortal songs medley, they bring more energy there
Yes. Such a great performance.
Yes! It's my favourite performance so far!!
yesss especially the fly into the night sky part
th-cam.com/video/h3YCi0qBMzs/w-d-xo.html
It is compulsory to do so. Like Delilah is Amazing as amazing as the other songs Mamamoo sung.
They sound even better now
Also I'm still mad that no reactor ever finishes the video!!
Yeah like they could not wait that 5-10secs and see if there is something else
This person finished it
th-cam.com/video/s9mbxy24CKU/w-d-xo.html
It hurts every time
almost like 90% of Delilah reactors did not finish the video imo
Rebecca vocal athlete did lmao, glad she did
You really should check out their performance for "I miss you", at Queendom! It's more recent, and perfect
Yasssssssssd
I was just gonna recommend this. It's their recent Live performance that really how their vocals
Agree with this
YESSSSS
He's a famous singer in Korea, he's the one who translated the original Tom Jones into Korean and sang it making it popular during his time. He's judging them, after the clip he mentions how impressed and how different Mamamoo made it sound to the original.
He doesn't have much of a reaction here 😂 but at the end he is absolutely beaming
I think he was just stunned that these girls (they were quite new at the time) could sing so well.
I really enjoyed your analysis thank you!
About Mamamoo:
This performance is quite early on in their careers and they’ve grown an incredible amount since then. The main singer doing all the power belts didn’t even start training as a singer until she was in her early 20’s.
They’re known for their incredible live vocals and performances in South Korea
I would recommend Mamamoo doing their Immortal Songs performances of:
-Wonderful Confession (more upbeat and lively if that’s what you want)
-Love Story of a Girl (beautiful vocals and harmonies)
-Backwoods (absolutely beautiful vocal performance)
YAAAS to all of these, and especially Wonderful Confession for me
in her 20's already. woah. that gives a lot of us hope
Dennis Tuboro idk if you’re a fan but by early 20s the person that comment meant she didn’t become a trainee til she was like 21 where as most idols start as early as 11 but the oldest member (solar) who we’re talking about is 29 now
@@chardaishanta9313 eitherway! it's never too late for anything
Obviously they were tired due to tight schedule. I am sure if they in good condition and get a lot of rest they will perform very best.
@@lobaetoile8440 yes she writes the entire song for quite a few of their tracks to date.
Loved your reaction btw!
maaaan you missed the best part at the end😭😭😭
ill recommend you to check out Mamamok Immortal Songs Medley.
Yesssss !!!! Here's the link ⬇️
th-cam.com/video/h3YCi0qBMzs/w-d-xo.html
This never stops breaking my heart when they miss the end.
I love their cover of Delilah, but I gotta say it's been wrongly hyped as their best IS2 performance to date. Yhey have so many better ones😭. I think my favorite ones are their "Wonderful Confessions" and "You in my fading memory"
The rapper, Moonbyul, writes herself into these songs.
And could you check out Sohyang? She's a korean gospel singer and a master of technique. Her mixed voice is insane and her head voice so angelic. Try "Arirang Alone" "Everyone" or "Lean on me" :)🙂
You missed the ending and this was rookie mamamoo. They were still babies but still managed to pull off an amazing vocal performance 👏
The rapper (moonbyul) is actually a unique rapper, she has her style, but here is a vocal perfornance and she was alittle bit shy as a rapper of a new vocal group , but now you shuld watch hip perfornance 🥺actually she can sing too😻
Mamamoo vocal recommendation
° Immortal songs Medley
° wonderful confession (from Immortal songs)
° literally anything--
whatever prejudice (positive or negative) one might have have about kpop..
MaMaMoo are something else.
They're always worth the time..
@@ivetapetrusheva2418 I was addressing/meme-ing the 'stigma' or negative-prejudice some have with kpop..with the added (deserved imo) hype for MMM.. apologies if my comment was poorly worded (not a native speaker)
I wholeheartedly agree with ur statement.. music is art.. and art can only be fully appreciated by those who are open-minded and willing to experience and understand concepts or cultures that are otherwise foreign/new to them or even 'not their thing'/outside their comfort zone.. otherwise I'd pity those ppl for what they missed out on
@@mclovin8297 Maybe I should have clarified that I wasn't trying to "come for you" or attack you personally in any way since I I truly agree with everything you said (and yes, you are very eloquent indeed), it was more about me wanting to add to it because I felt a bit triggered by how other people seem to be reacting and wanted to join in on the positivity. I'm sorry if it came out more aggressive than intended, I really am!
@@ivetapetrusheva2418 far from it.. if anything, I'd have enjoyed to "get back at you xD" by going back and forth over a potential topic of conflict in our thoughts.. but it was painfully clear that u meant well, and that we're on the same page.. I'm slightly disappointed if anything xD
instead, not only do I thank you for your kind words.. I also think I'd have apologized for perhaps making you feel at fault over sthg u didn't intend -nor do in the first place (that is, offending me); were it not for the fact it would've been too mushy (and borderline cringey) for me to do if that makes any sense.. :3
@@mclovin8297 Ahh, you're so kind...now I wish I had argued more.😅😅 Next time!😉
Would Love to see this done for their IMMORTAL SONGS MEDLEY it's amazing
*Its really more fascinating to watch vocal teachers and coaches reacting to Mamamoo's Immortal Songs cuz you know they're definitely enjoying it and seeing their reaction being surprise and all is just so damn satisfying in so many levels and also, they explain the hardest part in it that we ppl who don't normally sing will take for granted. Mamamoo = Vocal Queens*
MAMAMOO's vocals age like wine.. ❤️
If you want energy react to mamamoo imortal songs Medley
What makes Moonbyul a fantastic rapper is the fact that she always writes her own raps, which is very very rare, especially for female K-Pop rappers. And when you pay attention to her other rap parts in Mamamoo's songs, you'll be able to experience the versatility of her pitch and arrangement. She usually has quite low vocals which get mixed perfectly with her control of power. Sometimes she's able to rap very soft, like she even has rap parts in slow songs or ballads in which rap parts usually don't fit in. But she'll make it possible. Moonbyul also has a very powerful rap in which you can literally feel the lyrics, the passion and her emotions ( watch Mamamoo's 4x4ever live performance, her introduction rap was so on fire!)
Her rap flow is unmatched and she's known for being the best female rapper in K-pop!

Thank u for your reactions to the girls, hoping to see more MAMAMOO content 😊
A little background to Immortal Songs 2: this is a music competition program, participated by mainly and mostly artists sometimes they invite kpop idols but despite of the tough competition between true singers/artists, Mamamoo was able to win three trophies against all big time artist (these artists are threatened by Mamamoo's talent 😉) which made them the only kpop girl group to do so (Yeah i know, VOCAL QUEENS)😍
Members:
Solar (leader/powerhouse vocals)- long hair
Moonbyul(deep voice) - rapper
Wheein(angelic voice)- (semi)curly hair
Hwasa(raspy voice)- short hair
You should react to Mamamoo's I Miss You live performance on Queendom.
Also I think you will enjoy wonderful confession which is another one of their immortal songs, it has a lot of energy too it
Ahhh finally you reacted to mamamoo. Sooo happy to share and see people loving talent. 😭😭 keep on reacting to them. Love your analysis!! 😭😭👍
I really appreciate how you break down the separate techniques that they use and give examples without feeling like you are proving that you can sing. And I also like how frank you are about your opinions without "shade." I hope your channel continues to grow :)
I appreciate that!
You should definitely DEFINITELY react to their Mamamoo Inmortal Songs Medley, that's growth and I promise, you're gonna fall in love of them 😍😍😍
By the way, first singer is hwasa, second is solar, third wheein and the rapper is moonbyul, she was originally trained as a vocalist but they make her changed to a rapper, so she was just gaining confidence around this times, but she's so talented and her rap is very distinct right now especially because of her deep voice and notes that she can hit 👏
Loved you reaction and analysis! Here are some of their live performances you might want to check out:
- the way to sampo
- passion flower
- backwoods
- the dance in the rhythm
- flying into the night sky
- i miss you (queendom)

ok thanks for reacting to them. the old guy is the original singer of the korean version of Delilah.
Immortal Songs Medley. That's all I'm going to say.
Thank you for appreciating Mamamoo. It empowered me when I see some appreciation about them💖

You should react to them singing Backwoods and immortal songs medley
As someone who also has musical background and a vocal coach - I've been following them since their early years till Today, and yes, I am a Moomoo (Mamamoo's fandom). And I can definitely relate to her on her reactions but after listening to a TON of songs, their do standout vocally among all other groups and being an "influencer" in some way - defying the societal standards(Korean standards) and living it up and being proud with it.
Thank you for doing this reaction video. You made a LOT of moomoos happy!
oh that's so CUTE! I love the nickname "moo moos!"
That man is the original singer of this korean version Delilah. A very senior singer.
Delilah is their 5th I think? But still in their debut year. 😁
But I agree! I love Wonderful Confession! ❤️
You should totally check out their immortal songs performance next!!! Thanks for the reaction!!
But they slayed every stage with the great harmonies and vocals
Check -"i miss you" in queendom
-Love story of a girl
OMG YES you reacted to Mamamoo!!!! queeens!!! Im so happy
If you want one with more energy you should react to Mamamoo inmortal song mendley, is a video with 11 minutes so idk if you would like to react, but that one has a lot of energy

All these beautiful women are above the level of your regular idol. They are powerhouses of talent.
Mamamoo immortal songs medley, Passion Flower or Backwoods. Those are the best Immortal songs performances!

You should totally react to their immortal songs medley!! It's a little bit long, but every second is just outstanding!!
I would recommend 'i miss you' which is my fav live performance by them cuz it shows their individual talents & their talent as a group or 'importal songs medley' but I prefer I miss you since it's the latest
Fun fact: they all great soloist as well and have versatile singing styles, wheein have been picked in top 5 btw the best vocalist in South Korea

Oh definitely watch their "immortal Songs medley" and their "I Miss You" performance on Queendom!

I liked the comments on the airiness and what I think you called vocal fry.
Mamamoo are so amazing

I don’t want to wait. Watched a couple of videos to get the sense of style your reaction will be. I hope also waited for the last note. If not please post your thoughts on it, I would like to hear your viewpoint on the delay, for so long and holding the key/tuning and harmonies for what I think is a great finish. :)
A lot of people don't realise that they were still rookies when they started on Immortal songs, having debut 6 months before.
Loved the analysis on this video! They are the vocal queens of kpop girl groups and their live performances are definitely a feast for the ears. If you want to see the range of their talent, check out Mamamoo Killing Voice on the Dinga channel where they sing main parts from all of their title tracks.

Please review them more im sure youll like them. Thank you for giving them attention
