Hi Koba. I bought a cetme 308 from century way back in the day. The headspace was crap. You measure with feeler gage and it wouldn't fit. They had the nasty practice of grinding the bolt. I bought 2 replacement bolts and a few new rollers and sent it to a guy in one of the new England states. I forget what one. Its been years. He was in charge of century warranty service and went on to offering the service of re barreling centmes. It came back in great shape. Century is a hack shop. Seems like this new company is a lot better. Roller locks are a different breed altogether. As they wear the gap between the bolt and carrier closes up.

I got a pack of like 12 mags from J&G sales and I guess I got lucky cause all mine fit with a little tappy. I talked to my friend who builds CETMEs he told me he has to smack the mags in as well so like you said must be a mag issue or maybe a CETME design issue. As far as those sights go yea that’s why I just mounted an optic. Looking forward to the next video

I use HK G3 aluminum mags in my Century Arms CETME and they work fine.

I had to have an M&M Industries magazine catch set way forward in the magazine well in my brand new, AK-103S rifle from Palmetto State Armory. There were swirls on the bolt carrier and bolt, indicative of poor finish, and the muzzle brake would not easily unthread or thread back again, I could not get the cleaning rod out or back again at all, and the fit and finish was not what I expected for a brand new "Premium" rifle fresh from the factory. I fear that we have passed the "sweet spot" of a product coming from the factory performing as it is supposed to, and manufactured with care and craftsmanship, as things used to be made in the good ol'days of the US of A. The book "Enjoy the Decline- Accepting and Living with the Death of the United States" by Aaron Clarey, is how the future of the (Former) United States of America will be. No One does their jobs right in the first place, and don't care to, craftsmanship and pride in workmanship is a given, not an exception, and faulty merchandise sold to the end user is a given; not how things used to be in the FUSA. I'm Sorry for your bad experience.

I owned one with the upgraded cast receiver in the early 2000's. I think I paid about $550 or so. They want too much money for these nowadays.

back then $550 was not bad I think AR 15 were about $700 at the time, but still a it was a good chunk of change for a gun,
